Yep…being on these Best-Of lists surely does add to Greenville’s rapid growth, but it also adds equity for property owners in the form of demand-increased property value. It’s a double edged sword (more traffic & higher real estate prices in some areas, etc..), but ultimately, it’s a good thing. The alternative would be a flat or declining market, which comes with real baggage.

What do you think about a Cal-Neva High-Speed Rail Conference at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nevada? The Conference would focus on High-Speed Rail developments in California and Nevada with special emphasis on Brightline West (Los Angeles to Las Vegas) and California (San Francisco to Los Angeles). It would also be interesting to have a discussion on the feasibility of connecting Reno and Las Vegas via High-Speed Rail. The distance is around 460 miles, and I had to pleasure of driving it once. It's primarily two lane roads. It's comparable to the distance between Sacramento and San Clemente California, but it's by no means a journey on Interstate Freeways. There is the Interstate 11 planned between Las Vegas and Fallon, intersecting Interstate 80 just north of Fallon.
