EditorNinja helps brands & agencies publish clean, on-brand content. I've personally written & published 1,000 blog posts. Serial entrepreneur who loves travel, whiskey, skiing, and German cars.
My editing company now has 18 people. We're fully remote, and we'll stay that way. Why? Because creative work best happens wherever you're most creative. We're spread across Colorado, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Wyoming, El Salvador, and Canada. Instead of paying for offices, we'll put that budget towards: - Semi-often in-person meetups for groups who work together closely - Stuff to make our employees' lives easier working from home - Better pay for everyone Remote work lets us do our best work and still have balanced lives without commutes and traffic. Travel lets us get together and see new places. Being together in-person is still important, but not all the time like we thought in the past. I'm bullish on remote work. I have been since I started working from home (and wherever I want to in the world) almost 9 years ago. You? How's your company structured? Let me know below 👇

It's also a game-changer, offering a global talent pool for diverse perspectives and innovation. Beyond ditching commutes, it champions work-life balance, reducing stress and promoting personal growth. And there's more. Talk about the environmental bonus! Fewer commutes mean lower carbon footprints, contributing to sustainability. Moreover, remote work fosters inclusivity, accommodating diverse abilities and circumstances. It's not just about flexibility and more than just a bridge; it's a transformative shift towards a more compassionate, sustainable, and innovative work culture. #remoteworking #remoteopportunity #contentwriting

Remote work is a lifeline— It’s creating opportunity where there wasn’t any before. Because for people in isolated or rural communities... …job options can be scarce. But now? They don't need to leave home. Or their country. Or their family. Because they can build careers from anywhere in the world. It's more than convenience— It's opportunity. Inclusivity. Fairness. That’s why remote work isn't just work— It's a bridge. Connecting talent to opportunity. Anywhere. Everywhere. Any time. That’s why it’s the future.

Well said! Here's my two cents as a person with Autism. Offering remote work doesnt just connect you to more matches for your positions, it fosters amazing oppertunities for diversity, inclusion and accessibility too. The challenges I face with Autism, particularly with travel and sensory sensitivities, make the traditional workplace a hurdle, the daily commute can be a significant stressor, impacting my professional performance. Remote work not only alleviates these challenges but also allows me to channel my energy and focus into delivering my best work, unencumbered by the sensory and social challenges associated with commuting or relocating completely. Remote opportunities open doors to a more inclusive and diverse workforce. -Accessibility Breakthroughs: Remote work eliminates geographical barriers, allowing people with disabilities to contribute their unique talents without the stress or hurdles of commuting. -Tailored Workspaces: The ability to personalize our work environment fosters productivity and comfort. For those with sensory sensitivities, this flexibility is invaluable. -Inclusive Hiring Practices: Remote work encourages companies to adopt more inclusive hiring practices, recognizing diverse talents that might have been overlooked in a traditional office setting. -Productivity Unleashed: Autistic individuals often thrive in environments where they can harness intense focus. Remote work provides the autonomy to create a workspace that maximizes productivity. -Reduced Social Barriers: Virtual communication levels the playing field, allowing for more equitable interactions. It's about fostering an environment where the quality of ideas takes precedence, enabling us to contribute our best ideas without the added stress of navigating traditional office social dynamics. #remoteworking #diversityequityinclusion #peoplewithdisabilities #workfromhome #future #management #careers #culture

Being from a rural town myself (and I'm talking access to the internet was very, very limited back then-kinda rural town), I have experienced first-hand how scarce opportunities are and how difficult it is for talent to grow and unlock their full potential, some of them having to leave home and move to a completely unknown city in hopes of getting an opportunity, while some others had to stay and do the best with what they had. I have been quite lucky to have had good resources throughout my life, but without remote work I wouldn't have been able to grow this much and have such a great work-life balance. The opportunity of connecting top Latin American talent with US companies with Simera goes beyond "just a job" for me, it's a way to bridge great people with great companies. A win-win situation for both parts, if you ask me. I have seen how hard-working and passionate we are, and the lengths we will go to to ensure our work is the greatest there is. Just like me, all these people need is just a chance. Now I won't hit you with a "book a meeting with us today..." pitch after this heartfelt post because it seems completely out of place haha, but truly just give them the chance. My DMs are open, you could be the one to change their lives and get someone really valuable that will help your company grow🚀 #remotework #talent #simera

#remotework is greener than #officework. Enormous amount of energy is wasted in travel and commute to work. Ask yourself every time you need to head out to work “Do I really need to go?” Teams need to meet in person to engage and exchange ideas. But they can find a place that minimises travel and meet there. Rezoomex supports #remotework for #techprofessionals https://lnkd.in/dfBNW2iB

"You need an office to make connections at work." ❌ False. Remote work doesn't mean isolation. Thousands of companies are remote-first, yet not distant. Our recent feature in Built In highlights how several remote teams are thriving with human connection at the core. These companies are redefining what it means to create human-centric workplaces, proving that meaningful connections can flourish without a physical office. At Nativo Inc., we're curious and committed to fostering a strong sense of community and belonging for our remote team members, no matter where they are in the world. Don't get me wrong—there are still plenty of opportunities to connect in person for those moments that truly matter. That's the part the headlines conveniently leave out. The #NowofWork is here, and it's all about trust, flexibility, and inclusion. Join the movement. Please ♻️ share this post to support those in your network looking for a new opportunity. Visit Built In to learn more about the different approaches to remote work and explore open roles.

Gen Z Remote Workers… Do you rent in a town without a corporate office, but in a great hub city? What businesses within ten miles of your home are thriving? Who is sponsoring community events? Pay attention, connect, leverage the home rental trend with proximity to thriving corporate offices with campus perks, even if you remote work exclusively at the moment. Face-to-face opportunities and availability with corporate decision makers will always be an advantage when building relationships. Be aware, consider corporate community proximity while starting your careers. Be the one available in an era of the unavailable.
