For a long time now I've been asking me why I do what I do? The answer came to me recently! Through all the challenges resourcing, equipping, obtaining assets, developing a conducive and relevant training environment and opportunities and getting companies/managers to understand that people are the most valueable asset and that those on the lower end of the remuneration scale are those that are typically creating value and revenue, I still believe that development, education and training on both sides of the employment specturm (Management as well as Operator) adds value. My daughter once asked me why I get up in the morning. It made me think and now I know the answer! If I can change one persons life in a day, be it through training, education, development, being kind, providing a helping hand etc, my life gains more meaning. I believe that I am a servant of humanity and through my skills set, experience, knowledge and willingness to transfer and assist with skills development, I am making a small but meaningful difference in the world.
