The American Cancer Society estimates that over 2 million people may face a cancer diagnosis in 2024. This is a stark reminder of why we observe National Cancer Prevention Month. At Ezra, we're dedicated to turning this tide through early detection. Discovering potential cancer in 13% of the people we scan is more than just a statistic - it is a call to action for routine screening because early-stage cancer is far more treatable. Join us in changing the narrative. Learn how at https://ezra.com/ #NationalCancerPreventionMonth #ezramri #earlydetectionsaveslives

September is ovarian cancer Awareness Month! The symptoms of ovarian cancer are typically vague (such as indigestion and bloating) and early-stage ovarian cancer may have no symptoms Presentation and diagnosis are therefore often delayed until the cancer is advanced. On average, 140,000 women worldwide die each year (Penny 2020). So, throughout this month, we aim to raise awareness of this disease and methods such as ultrasound that can assist in detection. #Medicaldevices #OvarianCancerAwarenessMonth #Voluson

We need the input of lung cancer patients to inform a trial investigating whether a new type of blood thinner can effectively prevent blood clots. People with lung cancer, especially those with ALK-positive, are more prone to blood clots. Warwick University and Hull York Medical School are running a study and we, at ALK UK, are helping by gathering patient insights. We're asking anyone with lung cancer to fill out a quick survey https://lnkd.in/ej23ZCer. We particularly want to hear from those who've had blood clots. #LungCancer #BloodClots #PatientAdvocacy #ALKPositiveUK
