🎓 💡 Why do people actually go to college? 💼 🔍 ✅ It’s the natural next step in a young person’s career journey ✅ It’s a foundational experience that prepares you to be a tax paying adult citizen ✅ It’s an opportunity to delve into subjects you care about and develop a specialization of knowledge ✅ To develop and demonstrate crucial career skills like time management, problem-solving, presentation, commitment and communication ✅ To “discover” yourself and the impact you want to make in your life and career ✅ To learn how to socialize and build a network ✅ To get a degree - a stamp of approval that tells employers you can follow through on goals ✅ To connect with employers who recruit on campus 👩🎓 In the past, many (or all) of the above were true for college-goers.
