Norske Skog announced the start of a study to form the basis of building a bleached chemi-thermomechanical pulp (BCTMP) production line at its Saugbrugs mill in Halden, Norway. The potential new pulp line is based on reutilizing a portion of the mill that housed PM6 and was heavily damaged during a rockslide that occured in April of 2023. PM6, which had the capacity to produce 260,000 tonnes per year of SC (supercalendered) magazine paper, was shutdown and remains idle. https://lnkd.in/e-S67M5E #pulp #paperindustry

This month our newest project, the KlevaCage, is circulating on Business News. After three years of engineering and testing, we're excited to see these now being adopted in the Pilbara to support the safe delivery and storage of inflated 4WD & TBR tyre and rim assemblies to site. Tyre inflation involves the handling of stored energy, and these cages enable the tyre inflation process to be moved off-site, with safe storage and delivery to site in the purpose built KlevaCage. Think of the KlevaCage replenishment system as similar to the current 'gas bottle' system we're all familiar with, simply take the new one out, put the old one back, and the rest takes care of itself. This supports terrific efficiency with on-site tyre operations, all the while separating your on-site team from handling stored energy. In addition to safety benefits the replenishment system ensures end-of-life tyres are returned to a regional centre for recycling, instead of on-site burial, and there is no waste packaging such as plastic wrap and pallets to be disposed of on-site. Add additional processes without doing more work. Below is another video showing one of our machines working with Tree Bark. The wheel loader is doing the same work as before, collect from pile put in to hopper, but with our screening / crushing bucket it is now handling more processes. It is breaking down the tree bark to smaller sizes as well as doing quality control by screening out hard oversized material. #reuse #biofuel #wheelloader #worksmarter
