Senior Officer Quality Control at SAMI Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd || Ex Senior Officer Quality Control at Pharmatec Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd || Ex Laboratory Analyst at Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qaism Limited
Sampling plans for starting materials, Part 3 #Health_and_safety It is the responsibility of the sampler to read the relevant health and safety information (e.g. the safety data sheet for a pharmaceutical product and related materials) before sampling the material. The information should include necessary safety precautions and requirements for both the operator and the environment. The sampler should wear appropriate protective clothing for the task. If specific safety precautions are required, such as the use of respiratory equipment, the sampler should be properly trained in its use. The sampler should have safe access to and egress from the place where the sample is taken, and the places where the samples are taken for storage. The sample storage areas should have adequate light and ventilation and should be arranged to satisfy the requirements for safety as well as any special ones arising from the characteristics of the material being sampled. Care should be taken to guard against collapse of stacked containers or solids in bulk. #Sampling_process Preparation for sampling For the sampling of products, the responsible person should have at his or her disposal all the tools needed to open the containers (e.g. packages, barrels and others). Tools may include knives, pliers, saws, hammers, wrenches, implements to remove dust (preferably a vacuum cleaner), and material to reclose the packages (such as sealing tape), as well as self-adhesive labels to indicate that some of the contents have been removed from a package or container. Containers due to be sampled should be cleaned prior to sampling if necessary. Sampling of uniform starting materials does not require complicated tools. A variety of pipettes fitted with suction bulbs, cups or beakers, dippers and funnels are needed for liquids of low viscosity. The use of glass should be avoided. A suitable inert rod can be used for highly viscous liquid, and spatulas or scoops are needed for powdered and granular solids. Sterile pharmaceutical products should be sampled under aseptic conditions, and only when deemed absolutely essential, to avoid the risk of loss of sterility. All sampling tools and implements should be made of inert materials and kept scrupulously clean. After use or before reuse, they should be thoroughly washed, rinsed with water or suitable solvent, and dried. They should be stored in clean conditions. Adequate washing facilities should be provided in, or in close proximity to, the sampling area, otherwise samplers will need to bring separate clean sets of implements for sampling each product. The cleaning procedure used for all sampling tools and implements should be documented and recorded. The adequacy of the cleaning procedure for the material from which the sampling tool is made should be demonstrated. The use of disposable sampling materials has distinct advantages.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺? ➡️In aseptic gowning, trainers and personnel must protect the cleanroom equipment and the integrity of the cleanroom supplies. This is typically accomplished through retraining. Remember, proper gowning helps to prevent contamination by personnel. ➡️One of the primary safeguards that life science companies use to help prevent contamination in cleanroom operations is Gowning. ➡️Gowning is basically putting on clothing -- in this case layers of specially designed garments, covers, masks and gloves -- that isolates your body from the clean room environment. ➡️Learning how to properly put on sterile gowns is crucial to minimising the risks of contamination in any critical environment. This particularly includes cleanrooms, which are strictly designed to remain sanitary and contaminant-free (including dust and microorganisms). ➡️Top to bottom gowning technique A suitable gowning procedure should start from top to bottom. This implies that your employees should begin by donning their hoods and end with their shoe covers. This prevents contaminants or particles from falling to already gowned parts. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: ➡️Gowning and gloving is part of the daily routine of the CST in the OR. As required by Standard Precautions, sterile gowns and gloves are worn to prevent the migration of microbes from the skin and scrub attire of the sterile team member to the sterile field. 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐠𝐨𝐰𝐧: Disposable Cleanroom Apparel Fabric Types Polypropylene (a polyolefin) Polyethylene (a polyolefin) Polyester 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: ➡️ A cleanroom classified as ISO Class 5 or ISO Class 6 (or cleaner) requires cleanroom coveralls, along with hoods, gloves, and booties (shoe covers). Follow these steps for proper aseptic cleanroom gowning: ➡️Wash or sanitize hands. Make sure they dry completely. Don first pair of sterile gloves without touching outside surface area of glove. Sanitize gloves – this should be done after each step in the gowning process. Don Hood – use ties to ensure proper fit. 𝐆𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: ➡️This aseptic gowning qualification program is necessary to keep contamination from the outside world from entering the cleanrooms. Personnel must follow gowning procedures, hygiene requirements, and the established process flows to enter the cleanrooms. ➡️Gowning qualification – a program that establishes, both initially and on a periodic basis, the capability of an individual to do the complete sterile gown in an aseptic manner.( Initial Gowning qualification perform Continues 3 days, periodic Gowning qualification once in year -1 month) ➡️Gown certification involves testing the operator's ability to don and doff the gown correctly and performing environmental monitoring while the operator is working in the gown. The gown must also be visually inspected to ensure.

Supply OEM,ODM & Raw Materials for Disposable Diaper-Sanitary-Pullups etc- ADL, Nonwoven, SAP & SAP Paper, Airlaid, Fluff Pulp, Glue, Hook/Side Tape, PE film etc - Managing Director
The production of diapers is a complex and delicate process involving multiple stages and technical requirements. From the selection of raw materials to the packaging of the final product, each step needs to be precisely controlled to ensure the quality, safety and comfort of the product. As technology advances and market demands change, nappy manufacturers continue to optimise their production processes to meet the diverse needs of consumers. *Fluff forming: this is the first step in nappy production and involves processing the fibrous raw material into a fluffy substance for better absorption of body fluids in subsequent steps. *Core cutting: after fluff moulding, the core material needs to be cut to ensure that the nappy's absorbent layer has the right size and shape. *Guard Folding: This step involves folding the side sections of the nappy to create a guard structure that fits around the baby's waist. *Transfer Horizontal Shrinking: In this section, the nappy is transferred to a horizontal shrinking machine in order to adjust the width and comfort of the product. *Waistband Stitching and Product Forming: The waistband portion of the nappy is stitched in this step, while the overall forming of the product is completed. *Product Turning and Waistband Folding: Finally, the product is turned and the waistband folded for packaging and eventual sale. #BABYDIAPER#OEM#MADEINCHINA#ANSINHYGIENE#FLUFFPULP#BABYPANTS

Nearly 70% of safety leaders say their anti-fatigue mats are deteriorating years before the expected life expectancy – leading to unnecessary costs and compromising employee health and safety.👇 Here are 5 simple ways to extend the life of your mats: ➡1. Clean your mats regularly Cleanliness isn’t just about appearance. It directly impacts mat life expectancy. Pure #nitrile mats – like the AcroMat 100-Series – are impervious to chemicals and liquids. I.e., They won't break down to consistent cleanings or products. (Lower-quality materials might break down, however.) Products you can confidently use to clean nitrile mats: -Ammonia -Bleach -Detergent -Degreaser -Disinfectants -Hot, soapy water -Microfiber mop/rag -Deck brush -Hose/pressure wash -Vacuum ✅Tip: Microfiber is key, it won't leave lint behind (#cleanrooms). ➡2. Repair your mats early Layouts change. Damage happens. You shouldn’t have to buy new every time. Premium mats – especially highly durable and versatile nitrile – can be repaired, restored, and extended without disruption. Link in the comments for a deeper dive into the “how” of mat repair.👇 ✅Tip: Mat repair is a secret most suppliers don't want you to know about. Before your next purchase, ask if it's possible. ➡3. Inspect your mats often Mat inspections are like preventative health check-ups for your facility. They help you identify problem areas before they arise. Yet, 55% of our audience doesn't have a formal mat inspection process. ✅Tip: Dedicate the role to someone new each month as a "stretch" activity or goal. Have them walk the floor to spot and track obvious hazards. ➡4. Develop a mat budget Without a budget and proactive approach, if an injury occurs or damage happens, frantic product searches often ensue – leading to the wrong mat and reactive, over-spending. Yet, 55% of our audience doesn't have a budget for anti-fatigue mats. ✅Tip: Having a budget means you’re in control – not the mat supplier. ➡5. Standardize Just 13% of our audience has a standard in place for anti-fatigue matting. Yet, nearly 80% of safety leaders have a standard for other safety equipment like safety glasses, attire, and PPE. Standardization means uniting your mat approach across a facility. It ensures you have the right mats (and materials) in the right areas, which naturally extends how long they last. We visited a facility that had 12 different mat brands in use before they standardized. -Different surfaces -Different thicknesses -Different durability/lifespan With a standard, they went from 12 mat types to 2. ✅Tip: Standardizing is turnover proof. If someone leaves, safety remains consistent. -- If you expect your mats to last 4 years, because they're promoted to last 4 years, they should be lasting 4 years. If they're not, the safety of your people and your budget need to know why. #musculoskeletalhealth #ergonomics #workplacesafety
