Q1 had strong growth, but there was a pullback in Q2 caused by an outsized focus on BTC and ETH, new token launches diluting capital and attention, and the “low float, high FDV” meta being criticized. A book to add to my reading wish-list. However, I think that the dichotomy "Cryptocurrencies are bad, but blockchains are good" oversimplifies the complexity of the topic. Many non-cryptocurrency usages of blockchain have societal and ethical issues. Plus the continuous questioning about the base technology, that many times is overkill, with simpler, tried and tested alternatives existing, even if they are boring and "old-fashioned".
