Boxed wine - good or not so good? This article is a great snapshot of the benefits of boxed wine and its advantages over other packaging options. In particular that boxed wine stays fresher for longer, keeping the wine drinkable for weeks after opening. In addition the lower carbon footprint and sustainable packaging that boxed wine provides outstrips traditional rigid wine packaging. While many remain skeptical of boxed wine, (another thing we can blame the 80’s for!) the movement behind putting better booze in a bag is gaining momentum and for good reason.
