The three ways we’ve made our bottles better for a world of complex environmental and economic challenges: 1️⃣ Shape Innovation - our bottles are designed with a sleek, flat shape to optimise logistic efficiency. This innovative design allows us to double the amount of bottles on a pallet, reducing transport costs and emissions. For consumers, this means more bottles can fit in your fridge at home. 😉 2️⃣ Best-In-Class Material - our consumer-pleasing bottles are made from strong, pre-existing PET and weigh just 63g. This significantly reduces emissions in production, transport and recycling. 🚛 3️⃣ Recyclability By Design - our bottles are easily and widely recyclable to ensure the valuable material stays in circulation. No need to deconstruct the packaging. This is where we do the hard work, so the consumer life is easy. ♻️ 📲 View our website to find out more - https://lnkd.in/ezDbkRsw #packamama #recyclability #design #sustainability #innovative #packaging #productpackaging #wine #rPET

Say goodbye to bulky and unsustainable water bottles! Introducing #reU, a revolutionary design that reimagines the way we hydrate. Designed with sustainability in mind, reU challenges the norm by drawing inspiration from the often-overlooked #TetraPak – the familiar container for milk, juice, and soup found in your grocery aisle. This eco-friendly water bottle utilizes a smart combination of cardboard, aluminum, and polyethylene. The materials were chosen carefully for their long-term benefits and ease of production. The shape of reU isn't just visually appealing; it's space-efficient and easy to grip. The bioplastic dotted bottle cap provides texture and visual contrast, making it a sensory delight for users. reU goes beyond sustainability – it's designed to wear out over time, ensuring proper disposal through separate recycling of each component. "Cardboard for integrity, aluminum for cost-effectiveness, and polyethylene for easy production – a trifecta of sustainability," says Rishikesh Sonawane the genius behind reU. The rubber tab not only secures the cap but doubles as a convenient strap for carrying or hanging. Practical and stylish, right? So, why choose reU? It's not just about clean hydration but also about being kind to our planet. Affordable production and easy recycling make reU a no-brainer for conscious consumers. Remember, it's not meant to last forever – reU encourages responsible disposal, making room for a continuous cycle of sustainable hydration. #Thoughts? #SustainableLiving #GreenInnovation #Reduce #Reuse #Recycle

From plastics to biobased materials means a revolution in the packaging industry. The future of Impact insulation will be sustainable.
🌿 Woamy Takes a Giant Leap in Sustainable Packaging with Secto Design and Paptic Ltd! 🌍 We are thrilled to launch our first biofoam product for plastic-free packaging, as Secto Design switches from plastic foam to Woamy biofoam their Petite product line’s packaging. Woamy, Secto Design, and Paptic, are collaborating to transform the lighting industry's packaging standards. The redesigned packaging is recyclable and aligns with the principles of the circular economy and is set to revolutionize the packaging world. The plastic foams, used to protect the metal parts from scratches during transportation in the Petite floor and table lamps, will be changed fully to our bio-based, plastic-free, biodegradable, and recyclable Woamy biofoam, ensuring protection without environmental compromise. And the plastic hoods in the packaging will be replaced with ones made of renewable and recyclable at-scale Paptic® material. 🌱 This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission at Woamy to promote packaging that can be easily recycled in cardboard stream. This collaboration isn't just about packaging; it's about setting a new standard. As Susanna Partanen, our CEO, states “This is not just a product launch; it's a manifestation of our commitment to a plastic-free and circular economy. It has been a joy to work with Secto Design as they are a customer who truly cares about sustainability and is ready to invest time and effort to make those values reflect in actions. And through this project, together with Secto Design and Paptic, we are highlighting how important it is to collaborate, in order to achieve a sustainable future.” This partnership stands as a beacon for others in the industry, proving that sustainable solutions can be practical, effective, and commercially viable. 💡 We're not just talking about change; we're making it happen. Together, we're not just changing packaging; we're shaping a more sustainable world. 🌏 Read the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/gAFDtgc9 #SustainabilityInAction #PlasticFreePackaging #Woamy #SectoDesign #Paptic #Innovation #GreenFuture

Introducing the 'innovative' plastic ice cream spoon cleverly tucked within the lid! But let's dissect this 'smart' move. While it dances around single-use plastic bans, it's a missed opportunity to opt for sustainable materials. Moreover, the spoon's design fails on practicality—hardly ergonomic for enjoying ice cream. It's a dual failure: conceptually and ethically. Sure, it skirts regulations, but at what cost? We need genuine solutions, not gimmicks. Let's push for innovation in eco-friendly materials and thoughtful design. Comment below: What are your thoughts on this spoon-in-the-lid trickery? Shouldn't we demand better? 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱, 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻? There are so many forces driving the Eco-sustainable, lightweight, dynamic product packaging revolution. The last decade has seen a tremendous rise in innovations meeting consumers’ continued Eco-awareness, especially in product packaging and the use of one-use plastics. This is sparking incredible opportunities to make radical changes and bring outside-the-box sustainable solutions to the boardroom, design floor, warehouse, retail space, e-commerce experience, and consumer’s front door. This is from the burgeoning e-commerce marketplace to the increased use of bio-mimetic engineering in product design and the need to reduce weight for transportation and logistics. Industrial designers, product developers, and buyers (though under enormous pressure from consumers and industries) have an exceptional chance to make huge waves for design trends, the 2020’s revolutions, and future design innovations. The paper/board industries are one marketplace that is not missing a beat; their industrial designers are utilising new technologies, ideologies, and business models to stay on point and relevant for the current culture. By embracing a holistic viewpoint in your creations, as industrial designers you’re able to create a circular design route that incorporates all the key points you need to sustain an Eco-friendly and economically viable future. You must ensure that any part of your product and its packaging is accountable for its Eco-impact, has the ability to be re-invented or incorporated back into nature, and plays a vital role in keeping the necessary balance for a sustainable future.
