Let's talk trash! In our design and programming of resort properties, we spend a lot of time in the concept phase diagramming how we will get trash, linen, and housekeeping onto each floor, off each floor and moved to a loading/service dock out of the view of guests. This diagram of a Steamboat project studies vertical shafts, service elevators, and storage rooms on each level to ensure smooth operations and a luxury guest experience. We love these dialogues with our clients and the operations teams involved and attack this early in the design. He has influenced, developed, and led several critical initiatives at OZ that have advanced our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Topping off alert!! Kindred Resort is bringing a new level of luxury and energy to Keystone's River Run base area. Featuring a 107-room upscale hotel managed by RockResorts, 95 luxury residences, a private club, ski valet, Vail Resorts Keystone Ski & Ride School, upscale retail, and three signature restaurants. The team broke ground in the fall of 2022 and, earlier this week, had its final "topping off," with the last ceremonial beam placed atop the East Tower. The grand opening of Kindred Resort is projected to be in late spring of 2025. Congrats, Kindred Resort and PCL Construction, for achieving this major milestone! Every year, OZ celebrates Bike to Work Day. Today, many of our employees left their cars at home and enjoyed cycling to work. Snacks and refreshments from our wellness committee help as well! OZ is committed to sustainability and has fun improving air quality, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and leading healthy lifestyles on our bikes. Green|House Short North is now open in Columbus, Ohio! Members of the OZ team attended the Grand Opening ceremonies last week. The seven-story, 158-unit mixed-use development at 21 W. Second Ave. includes amenities like a pool deck, spa, Himalayan salt meditation area, and a new, healthy, fast-casual concept restaurant opening later this year. Uniquely, Green|House features an embedded transformational wellness program called GRO, focused on individual and community well-being, nature, and transformation.
