The Korean Cultural Centre UK's spring exhibition, ‘26, Your Korean Words’, explores the 26 words of Korean origin that were added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2021. These additions are a result of our ongoing efforts to widen the dictionary’s coverage of different varieties of English spoken worldwide. This was a fascinating exhibition highlighting the work of Oxford Languages | OUP. Well done to everyone involved.

Meet Patrick Jackson, author and founder of Picker Pals, in our latest #YourOxfordStory! Patrick started working with OUP whilst living in Japan in the 90s and continues to write in our popular ‘Everybody Up’ series. He’s also the founder of Picker Pals, a charity educating children about #sustainability.
