Thank you, Michael, for sharing this ZEISS-Holiday-Animation. It is great summary of ZEISS IQS’s portfolio, but I've already received feedback from people who aren't so familiar with our portfolio that they don't understand the animation. So let me give a brief explanation: After the snowflakes at the beginning, you see a changing blue fringe patterns projected onto the sphere referring to our optical 3D measuring systems (https://lnkd.in/e-iPXEgu). The color change of the sphere shows the typical colored representation of the fringe projection measurement results in the measurement software (https://lnkd.in/eBaN9Dac) along with some typical drawing indicators for spheres. Afterward you see a roundness measurement with a tactile probe, as used on a CMM (https://lnkd.in/e4SAKg9b) and the result. Finally, you can use Computer Tomography (https://lnkd.in/est42ZqS) to look inside the sphere to discover the star. Thank you to #teamZEISS Marketing for the great idea!

Rarely do you receive such uplifting words from employees. These words serve as motivation to persevere through all the challenges: losses, expenses, difficulties, and fatigue. Despite the adversities, we continue to move forward, drawing strength from every step. This journey offers opportunities for growth, learning, and improvement. Our progress is fueled by the dedication of our team, who work on themselves, demonstrating what's achievable under strong leadership, discipline, and adherence to regulations. Brick by brick, line by line, project by project, we march ahead with willpower, energy, and enthusiasm. --- “This month I celebrated my anniversary with the company. And for a whole month, I thought about what to write. I decided to focus on personal growth. During this time, I became a completely different person, a better version of myself. I became stronger, tougher, more resilient. I revised my values and found new ones. I clearly understand what I want from life. For the first time, I want to brag about my work to friends, although not everyone will understand why it's so cool. It was an interesting and complex transformation. I would like to thank you for seeing how you can conduct your business, what real development is. I definitely feel that my ambitions have also grown and the maximum that I can achieve has become much greater, it is worth a lot. I saved, well, 5 years in the context of understanding how the world works. Well, I would also like to emphasize that my life has become much more comfortable and interesting. Before I started working at abz.agency, it was a problem for me to get a subscription somewhere, buy a book, or some kind of course, all this is money. My workplace was not the best and most comfortable. Now I live a completely different life with a lot of opportunities. I don't want to stop there, it will only get better, but I know how to appreciate what I have and know how to be grateful for it, so thank you for your contribution to my life.”

Leaving money on the table is not the same as undervaluing your product/service. In business and with clients, I leave money on the table all the time because I see more value in providing an outstanding experience than attempting to extract every penny out of every transaction. The latter experience leaves your clients feeling depleted not just financially, but emotionally as well. They might not realize it in the moment, but it’ll subconsciously stick with them as they decide whether to work with you or refer you to their friends in the future. The former has the opposite effect. Going above and beyond without charging extra leaves your clients feeling not just satisfied, but grateful. Grateful for your work. Grateful they chose you over the competition. Grateful for the value you’ve provided. And the amazing part about gratitude is that it’s usually accompanied by loyalty.

🐲 Year of the Dragon 🐲 I find the festive season busy, and the time between Christmas and New Year a blur of cheese, family memories and sunburn. I am thankful that there is a break between the Calendar Year and the Luna New Year, and I like to use that time as an opportunity to really reflect. Here are the 6 questions I spend sometime reflecting on: 🐉 What am I most proud of from last year? 🐉 What are my top 3 highlights or achievements? 🐉 What did I uncover about myself? 🐉 When I look back, what am I grateful for? 🐉 What is 1 thing I want to leave in the previous year? 🐉 What is 1 thing I am going to take forward with me into the new year? Spending time reflecting on these questions means I look at the previous year holistically and not just in the last few months, but it also means I set myself up for success! If you need help working through your questions I am more than happy help!

“Be thankful for what you have, you will end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” Oprah Winfrey A larger portion of our lives, we focus on the things to accumulate and then work hard to meet the ends, i.e. an exotic holiday, an eye-appealing bike / car, an above-status house, fancy gadgets etc, and once we achieve one, we have an aspiration to again lift the bar and achieve ever more stretched goals. Over time, I have understood that humans are very different from any other species alive on the earth, as an animal will develop its skills to adapt to its surroundings for the ability to survive and throughout life will do the same. In contrast, humans will never settle for specific things and their aspirations and wants will keep on multiplying. The above is the basis of the exponential increase in industrial production of cars, electronic gadgets, apparel, exotic villas & resorts, yachts, private jets etc., as human nature is based on never ending consumption and the same as keeping our economy growing every moment go. But in this race of accumulating materialistic things, many of us are missing the ability to enjoy the essence of what we have achieved at the specific moment, and this inability to do the same usually creates stress which then leads to anxiety & depression, distressed relationships and health concerns etc and many other negative effects. I would urge all my friends and family to take a moment each time in life to express your gratitude for what you have jointly accomplished. 1. Enjoy the bike ride / car drive with your spouse, kids and parents while playing your favorite song and enjoying the cold gush of breeze. 2. Make a healthy brunch together and enjoy a weekend in the house for which the family has made so many efforts and sacrifices. 3. Wear your best dress and go on a date with your spouse and appreciate the companionship which helped you to sail through good and bad times. 4. Also, always be grateful to your employer. As for the position for which you were selected, there were many others not and your career is definitely because of your skill and hard work, but just imagine if you have never got an opportunity. Here, please note, I am not asking to be satisfied with what you have achieved, as the same means settling with what you have achieved, and usually it’s against human nature. For me, every morning, the moment I sit in my car, I express my gratitude as I have got another wonderful day to go to work(and pray for many more to come), meet new people, make friends and learn new things and be a better person. Friends, you can share the things you express your gratitude!! #gratitude #positiveattitude #inspiration #mindset 6

Flying home for Christmas feeling grateful for another year. 2023 was a huge year for growth both personally and professionally, and although it certainly had its challenges, amidst the hurdles, valuable lessons are always to be learned: - Your perception shapes your reality. The way you think, feel & speak determines your experiences. - Frequent self review is key for ensuring you are focusing and proritising the most productive tasks, as well as not repeating your mistakes. - Treat every client & process like they are your only, regardless of how many you have. - Continuous learning and development is key to outperform all of your competition. - Having a solution orientated mindset to preempt and eliminate blockers ahead of time, as as well as turning down bad business. I wish my network a great Christmas and new year break, hopefully giving everyone the time to recharge, ready for a big one in 2024.

Have you experienced any failures lately too? Be grateful! The holiday season is always a time to slow down, reflect on the past few months, and consider our successes and failures. For me, it's definitely been primarily about failures, of which I have had my fair share recently:)) I totally agree with those who believe it's important to experience loss or failure occasionally! It's not that I relish the idea of failing, but I've gleaned some tough lessons. The lessons reinforce the idea that it isn't best to only experience wins and successes. Failures have consistently offered me profound learning opportunities, setting me up for even greater achievements in the future than if I had never experienced setbacks. This concept, often termed "post-traumatic growth", has proven true for me time and again. I am eager to learn from my mistakes this year, and I encourage you to embrace the same attitude! For passionate readers out there, "The Obstacle Is the Way" by Ryan Holiday is a great recommendation :)
