🌳 Embracing the Wild: A Journey in Two Worlds As I reflect on the journey that led me from the untamed wilderness to the corridors of education, the dichotomy of my past becomes evident. From the age of 7, Sundays were dedicated to the rhythm of hunting and gathering, a dance with the wild that shaped my early years. 🏹 The Hunt of Youth: In those early days, surrounded by the ample bush and forest areas, hunting was more than a tradition—it was a way of life. As a young boy, I joined men in pursuit of sustenance, a Sunday ritual etched in simplicity. Yet, as the years unfolded, the landscape of my Sundays transformed. 📚 A Shift in Focus: With the completion of primary school in 2000, a new chapter unfolded. The pursuit of knowledge beckoned, and my focus shifted. Shoes replaced bare feet, and the pews of the church welcomed me. No longer did Sunday hunting define my weekends; now, it was the pursuit of education that shaped my path. 💡 Challenges Faced: The journey wasn't without its challenges. In a rural landscape where economic constraints often determined access to education, some of my peers faced an uphill battle. The modest $10 tuition fee, once shared among parents, now became a hurdle for those with larger families. 🌍 Education as a Beacon: Today, as Firmrock Children Helper CBO envisions a future where education becomes a beacon of hope for all, I'm reminded of my own journey. The echoes of hunting blend with hymns of progress, a testament to the transformative power of education in rural landscapes. 🤝 Join the Journey: I invite you to join the journey—where the untamed past meets the educational present. Regular updates will unveil the threads of this story, weaving tradition, challenges, and the pursuit of a brighter future. Let's embark on this path together. 🚀 #EducationForAll #HuntingToLearning #FirmrockCBO #TransformativeJourney 📚🌳 Firmrock Children Helper

🐎 Is the Melbourne Cup Really Suitable for Early Childhood Education and Care Services? 🎠 🔥 Have you ever wondered why on earth children are exposed to such cruelty and gambling? As a passionate advocate for quality care and education, I believe it's time we take a closer look at the impact of events like the Melbourne Cup on our little ones. 📚 Early Childhood Education and Care services play a crucial role in shaping the future of our children. We strive to set them up for success and empower them to make the right decisions in life. But does the Melbourne Cup align with these goals? 🤔 Let's consider the values we want to instill in our children - empathy, compassion, and respect. The Melbourne Cup, with its dark underbelly of animal cruelty and heavy gambling involvement, doesn't quite fit into this equation. 🌍 Our aim is to create a harmonious world, where every child has the opportunity to thrive. By exposing young minds to an event centered around exploitation and risky behavior, we may inadvertently send the wrong message about what constitutes quality care and meaningful education. 💡 Instead, let's focus on fostering a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore their passions, develop critical thinking skills, and embrace kindness towards all living beings. Let's provide them with experiences that prioritize their holistic development and cultivate a love for lifelong learning. 🌟 Together, as an industry, we can make a difference. Let's question the status quo, challenge outdated practices, and ensure that our Early Childhood Education and Care services truly embody the values we hold dear. 🙌 Join the conversation and share your thoughts on whether the Melbourne Cup belongs in our Early Childhood Education and Care services. Together, let's create a brighter future for our children. #QualityCare #EducationMatters #ChildhoodDevelopment

The environment plays a vital role in the existence of life. It consists of plants, animals, food, natural resources, water, and so on. Ancient humans lived in a natural environment and hence led a healthy life. But in recent times, the environment has been highly harmed due to human selfishness and greed.📗 #kidseducation #kids #education #kidslearning #children #learning #kidsactivities #parenting #homeschooling #kidseducationalactivities #preschool #kindergarten #kidsbooks #school #homeschool #elearning #digitalart#learningthroughplay#reading #learningfromhome #kidslearn #playbasedlearning

We are so proud of these men who just graduated from It Takes A Village Foundation Reentry 8 weeks Program today. It is such a blessing as you help others walk into their purpose no matter what mistakes they may have made, God is faithful and always gives anyone another chance to get it right. We know that it takes a village for these young men to be successful when they get back into society. I’m glad God is using It Takes A Village Foundation Reentry Program to help them in the process. https://lnkd.in/e4HWZEd #reentry #ReentryPrograms #reentrymatters
