🎊 They're in! The #QGIS 3.38 release includes Oslandia's and Apeiron's #opensource contribution to the cross-section tool. Time to project those #drillholes with the new OpenLog 1.2 now featuring full support for downhole structural data.

Check the QGIS docs to get up to speed with those cross-sections: https://docs.qgis.org/testing/en/docs/user_manual/map_views/elevation_profile.html

Great stuff and I have been playing around with the elevation profile tool. Just need to find a way to put labels on the elevation window!

Wild. Great work. This will have an immense impact on the junior mining community.

Is this mainly intended for interval data as typical in mining drill holes or can it handle for instance well log data where maybe each well has 10,000-20,000 measurements for properties like gamma ray?

It's a very close distance between being lost in data and having a 3D model

I tried to find OpenLog in plugins for an older version of QGIS and couldn't find it. Is it also available?

The sections is good for lithological section using QGIS but is it possible to make a cross section of an assay result overlapping on lithological section as a histogram together?
