A "Top Chef" atmosphere for the chefs in the facilities. On Thursday 29 February, for the 2nd time, the Group organised an international culinary competition, the "International Cooking Trophy", at the Ecole Ducasse in Meudon. « This international competition highlights the work of the chefs in the Group's facilities, who prepare more than 40 million meals every year, 40 million opportunities to give vulnerable people an appetite through taste and presentation" » Laurent Guillot In 2023, all the french chefs in the facilities will have benefited from a training programme of excellence in partnership with Ducasse Conseil. A Charter for Responsible Food is being rolled out in all the Group facilities: purchase of short-distance, organic and seasonal produce, combating food waste, reducing energy and water consumption. This year, 9 finalist chefs, winners of national trophies in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland, and two chefs in France took part. The jury, which notably included Jean Philippe Blondet, Michelin-starred chef at Alain Ducasse's restaurant at the Dorchester in London, Jérôme Lacressonnière, Director of Ducasse Conseil and Gwendal Le Ruyet Ruyet , Consultant Chef Ducasse Conseil, Fabienne Dulac, Deputy Managing Director, Pierre Krolak-Salmon, Medical Director, and Muriel Barnéoud, CSR and Quality Director, decided between the candidates on the basis of a grid assessing : creativity, originality and presentation, with a new criterion: "zero waste".
