Shine bright and be the light Wishing You a Happy Diwali and a Prosperous New Year. Even if you do not celebrate, use the opportunity as a reminder to shine bright and be the light. The days are shorter, nights longer, it’s getting darker earlier and staying dark for longer. It’s the season of change, of letting go - just as the trees do. For me, it is also the time of the festival of lights. Diwali. A reminder of the triumph of good over evil. The flame of the Diwa (candle) symbolises a variety of things including light over darkness, hope, the light of spiritual truth and knowledge of self-realization over ignorance, the burning of our negative tendencies including ego, greed, anger and deceit, how one candle (enlightened teacher) can light the spark of divinity in others. What is your light? How are you shining it? In case you missed the recent blog article: Let Your Light Shine, check it out on the Happy Life Habits website.

Diwali brings a strong message for all After dark , light comes Light is always the symbol of divinity, knowledge, purity. By contrast, darkness is evil, sorrowful, ignorant. When we are in a room that is not well lit, how easy it is to become depressed and low, while in a place which is well lit, how natural to feel bright and wonderful. Diwali comes from the word Dipavali which has two words—Dipa meaning Light and Avali means Rows of Light/Carrier of Light. Therefore Dipa signifies ‘coming to light’. In Vedic culture, a lamp is lit to drive away inauspiciousness. It also means to come into knowledge from darkness. And we all sometimes face such situations I am approaching towards light !!! And bless the same for all Gratitude!! Seemaa The path finder spreading lights!!!

Deepavali - Lighting a single diya of my own Spiritual Awareness! A single diya or lamp holds infinite beauty and hope. Diwali is a celebration of victory over evil or darkness and the coming of a New Year. But what is the darkness we want to remove? Let us not only celebrate Diwali for a day, but let life be a Diwali experience. As we clean our homes, let's clean our minds of all the emotional blockages. Let us check the smallest corners and remove all the little stains of harsh words, bitterness, betrayal and past hurts. As we wear new clothes, let's also get rid off our old, unwanted, disturbing habits of anger, jealousy, worry.... and emerge our new but original qualities of peace, love and joy. Let’s also emerge our new way of thinking, responding to situations and a new way of living. As we settle our old account books and begin new ones, let us settle our old karmic accounts, any unpleasantness in relationships and begin our relationships in a new positive way. If there is anything we are still holding onto, let it go. Forgive and resolve conflicts. It’s time for settlement.

Powerful message and great ad
Good one. Sometimes, all we need to do is reach out. Sometimes people do not help because they think you are ok. Sometimes when we observe, we not only look but we see. Happy Diwali to all of you. May your Diwali be filled with blessings, good health, and prosperity
