Teresa started her journey in Oniverse just over a year ago: during her studies at the Modatex fashion school in Portugal, she took part in the Erasmus program, moved to Bologna, and joined the Pattern Making Intimissimi Team. For her, it was a very important opportunity, which she accepted with great enthusiasm, as she tells “I was already familiar with the Intimissimi Brand and have always been fascinated by its collections. From the very beginning I was aware that I was in the right place to be able to grow and build my career, I was and am still very proud to have achieved this”. Teresa's words transmit all her passion and dedication to her work: “I felt a strong emotion when I saw the first bra I had made displayed in the shop's window. What I love most is the dynamism of the role, the opportunity to travel and see the different steps of designing and producing a collection. My role requires me to stay constantly up-to-date on new processes and technologies. The study of trends, fabrics and materials is essential to create the patterns”. She says: “Collaboration with the different teams of the company is a key aspect in achieving a quality product”. Teresa describes Oniverse as a welcoming environment full of opportunities: “a place to grow from a professional and human point of view, where collaboration and teamwork are the keys to achieving ever more ambitious results”. Suggestion for future colleagues: “Believe in your abilities, with a desire to get involved, ambition and determination: within Oniverse you will have the opportunity to achieve your goals”. #oniverse #careers

Do you want to work in fashion but prefer a role on the management side of the industry? Creativity is not the only driver of fashion brands. It also takes business-oriented roles like buyers, marketers, and brand managers to run a successful fashion company. So if you don’t see yourself designing clothes and styling looks, you should look for a job on the management side of the industry. You might be like me for example. When a decade ago I decided I wanted to get into the fashion industry, I was more interested in finding something that could combine my passion for fashion with the management side of it. That’s why I entered the industry in the e-commerce department at Alexander McQueen. But I remember when I was at the beginning of my job search, I could find information about editors, designers, and stylists…but there was very little info about other roles in the industry, including those related to the management side. It was really hard to understand what role in fashion could fit me. That’s why in my latest article, I wanted to give you some clarity about the different fashion management jobs if you are also interested in working on the business side of the industry. You can read it here: https://lnkd.in/gKJMs8zK #fashionjob #fashionschool #fashioncourse #fashionstudent #fashionstudents #fashioncareer #fashioncourses #onlinefashioncourses #fashionjobs #fashioninternships #excel

🌟 Week 5 Update at L'Oréal as a Sales Intern 🌟 I am thrilled to share my journey at Matrix Hair Care Products, part of the L'Oréal family. This week marks my fifth week, and it's been an incredible learning experience working with the Scalppure range, designed specifically for anti-dandruff treatment. Scalppure is unique as it's formulated to be applied directly to the scalp, unlike any other haircare product on the market. My current focus is on a management objective titled "Evaluating the Influence of Product Positioning on Sales: Study on Scalppure." To achieve this, I am conducting factor analysis to identify the most influencing variables and using attribute-based perceptual mapping techniques to understand Scalppure's market positioning. This includes comparing Scalppure with competitors like L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Instant Clear Shampoo and Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Scalp Therapy Dandruff Control Shampoo. This week, I have also started working in new areas that are serviced by the company and have dedicated DS support. The salons here show a stronger preference for Matrix products and services, providing valuable insights into how effective distribution and support can enhance brand perception and sales. Stay tuned for more updates as I continue this exciting journey and uncover new ways to drive success for Matrix Hair Care Products! #InternshipExperience #SalesIntern #MatrixHairCare #Scalppure #ProductPositioning #MarketResearch #Loreal

As my master thesis approaches I’ve had the opportunity to reflect all of this process I’ve passed through this period. One of them, which I would like to emphasize was the Ferragamo Rebranding project that I had the chance to develop for my midterm, once Polimoda is a school that belongs to Ferragamo. And to be honest I hated it. I spent six months completely trying to please several different people and completely lost myself in the process. The result in my opinion was disastrous, completely incoherent. I gave up using techniques that I do best to use the one’s that my professors preferred instead. And after months of exclusive dedication and countless hours of work, knowing I could’ve done better was extremely frustrating. Well, I believe the importance and the goal of this post is to say that it’s okay to make mistakes, make some things you didn’t like, if you learn in the process what you got wrong and what you could’ve done better, and then in the next project do the best you can! #ferragamo #rebranding #fashiondesign #creativedirection #ferragamorebranding #rebrandingproject #marketing #brandvision #masters #polimoda

Meet Prajakta Mulgaonkar, Assistant General Manager, Apparels at Grasim Pulp & Fibre. Having come from the fashion apparel industry, Grasim’s workplace culture was initially uncharted territory. But, Prajakta took this as a challenge to develop her skills. Her unwavering commitment and love for experimentation fit in well at Grasim, leading to a thriving career. Prajakta shares her overall experience: “Grasim Pulp & Fibre was my gateway into the corporate world. Since I had previously worked in an unorganized sector, this was a welcome change. At first, I found it challenging to adapt to and market fibres due to my background in apparel. Yet, with dedication and positive collaboration, I learned the nuances of the products. It’s been 9 exciting years so far. My work is defined by authenticity, driving me to seek innovative projects. This vast and ever-evolving industry empowers me to think outside the box constantly. I am passionate about experimenting with new concepts, exploring the unexplored and bringing fresh ideas to the table. To me, #learning is constant. We need to keep learning at every stage — the day we think we know everything is the day our evolution and growth ends. I love challenging myself and surpassing my own benchmarks. This pushes me to never settle for good but rather go for the best. Seeing my sketched garments come to life and be worn by people is the most rewarding part of my job. My current role has given me rich exposure through various external and internal partnerships. I am not just a fashion designer — I’m a fashion leader who wishes to guide and inspire young minds.” By offering a space to experiment and empowering #careerprogression, Grasim Pulp & Fibre inspires our talent network to #BeBoldBeYou. #Grasim #employeestory #employeeexperience #employeeengagement
