83% of founders want to start a business in Germany despite the crisis! 💪 🌐 The latest German Start-up Monitor from PwC and Startup-Verband provides us with surprising insights into the start-up landscape in NRW, where HIGH-TECH.NRW plays a decisive role when it comes to far-reaching technological spin-offs from university into corporate practice. Here are 4 key findings from the report:   1️⃣ Ecosystem Synergy: 🚀 74% of NRW startups praise the ecosystem - Alongside Düsseldorf and Cologne, Aachen and Münster are leading the way thanks to their strong academic ecosystems. This collective energy can be the catalyst for our shared success. 2️⃣ Promoting innovation: 🌱 NRW is strong in university funding and state support. This is the sure seed for the next generation of innovators. Their insights count and that's what we work for every day! 3️⃣ Growth realities: 📈 The growth path in NRW has hurdles - employee numbers and venture capital require attention at all stages. Business angels, SMEs as strategic risk promoters and large investment rounds! 4️⃣ Diversity Unveiled: 👩💼 The proportion of female founders is only 20%, although the general proportion of women in start-up teams is significantly higher at 38%. Let's improve this together!
