#90dayschallenge #day26 #total15 8-Why are developers so opinionated and/or defensive about their front-end (usually) tech stack and/or approach? =There are a few reasons why developers might be opinionated and/or defensive about their front-end tech stack or approach. 1. Passion and expertise: Developers often have a lot of passion for their chosen tech stack and have spent a lot of time learning and mastering it. They may feel that their chosen tools and techniques are the best way to solve a particular problem, and they may be resistant to changing their approach. 2. Experience and perspective: Developers also have a lot of experience using their chosen tech stack. They have seen the strengths and weaknesses of their tools, and they have developed a deep understanding of how to use them effectively. This experience can make them more confident in their approach and more likely to defend it. 3. The ever-changing landscape of front-end development: The front-end development landscape is constantly changing, with new tools and frameworks emerging all the time. This can be overwhelming for some developers, who may feel that their chosen tech stack is becoming outdated. This can lead to defensiveness, as they may feel that their expertise is being undervalued. 4. The need to justify their decisions: Developers often need to justify their decisions to stakeholders, such as managers or clients. This can make them more defensive of their approach, as they may feel that they need to defend their choices in order to keep their job or win a project. 5. The desire to be seen as an expert: Developers often want to be seen as experts in their field. This can lead to them being more opinionated about their approach, as they may feel that their expertise gives them the right to have their opinion heard.
