Preserving cultural heritage necessarily requires ensuring conservation of soil, water and ecosystem services of natural resources and solution of hunger. Soil and Water Conservation for Sustainable Food Production, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem services of natural resources should be given top priority in the prevalent climatic anomaly related disaster management in all types of land uses. This approach of land use management will be helpful for reducing unusual anthropogenic pressures on natural resources. Thus, it will be helpful for achieving 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. So, present agricultural research and field works should be targeted on application of soil and water conservation methods in individual agricultural plots and further development of Soil and Water Conservation as a full-fledged stream of science. https://lnkd.in/gfNX4CjA https://lnkd.in/g-my6P6D

During the month of May, we celebrate Asian/Pacific Islander American Heritage Month – a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. A rather broad term, Asian/Pacific encompasses all of the Asian continent and the Pacific islands of Melanesia (New Guinea, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji and the Solomon Islands), Micronesia (Marianas, Guam, Wake Island, Palau, Marshall Islands, Kiribati, Nauru and the Federated States of Micronesia) and Polynesia (New Zealand, Hawaiian Islands, Rotuma, Midway Islands, Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Cook Islands, French Polynesia and Easter Island). Enacted on October 28, 1992, in the U.S. The purpose of the law is to honor the achievements of Asian/Pacific Americans and to recognize their contributions to the United States. November is National American Indian Heritage Month. Also known as Native American Heritage Month, there are a number of ways to commemorate the event at your workplace, including celebrating the Native American heritage of your own team members or hosting educational events for your employees at work. You could also seek out Native American-owned businesses in your community and share the info with your team. Unsure what would resonate best with your staff? Ask your Native American employees to help you plan! #nativeamericanbusiness #americanindianheritagemonth #nativeamericanheritage #smallbusinessHR

1wI have been a Spanish/English translator and interpreter for over 40 years. Trained and worked as a U.S. Army Linguist, I have REAL WORLD experience interpreting in EVERY COUNTRY IN CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA. After retiring, I became a U.S. Judiciary Interpreter, working for Federal and State Courts throughout the United States. Concurrently, I interpreted for the Texas Medical Center and hospitals such as Ben Taub, M.D. Anderson, Methodist, Baptist, etc., as an on-site Spanish Interpreter. With the onset of the COVID pandemic, I transitioned to an OPI/VRI interpreter role for several Language Service Companies that serve U.S.-based hospitals, insurance companies, and more. I am currently interpreting for One World Global Services (OWGS). I cannot stop COMMENDING THEM FOR THE SUPPORT AND CONTINUAL TRAINING THAT WE INTERPRETERS KEEP RECEIVING FROM THEM!
