🌟 Championing Mental Health in the Workplace: Insights from Josh Krichefski, CEO at GroupM 🌟 In an inspiring interview with Naomi Lucking, Josh Krichefski shared his journey towards prioritizing mental health and cultural change in GroupM. Here are the key takeaways: 1️⃣ Personal Experience as the Driving Force: Josh's own battle with insomnia due to anxiety ignited his passion for mental health. Upon becoming CEO at GroupM, he knew that mental health and wellbeing needed to be at the core of their culture. 2️⃣ Successful Wellbeing Initiatives at GroupM: GroupM implemented mental health allies, volunteers equipped to provide support and open conversations. Their "my mental health story" initiative fostered a culture of openness, where personal experiences were shared and respected. The fruitful partnership with Unmind also offered valuable training programs for building a positive culture. 3️⃣ Leadership Buy-In for Lasting Impact: Josh emphasized that leadership buy-in is crucial for the success of mental health initiatives. By being open about his own mental health journey, he encourages others to do the same, creating a safe space for discussions and destigmatizing mental health. By putting people first, Josh aims to keep the industry relevant by attracting the best talent and addressing reputation challenges. Prioritizing mental health in the workplace not only benefits employees but also increases productivity and innovation, ultimately retaining top talent. #MentalHealthMatters #WorkplaceWellbeing #ChampioningMentalHealth #PeopleFirstAgenda #LeadershipBuyIn #PositiveCulture #EmployeeEngagement #Productivity #Innovation #CorporateWellness Read the full interview with Josh Krichefski here:

Navigating cultural nuances and differences is the biggest challenge when it comes to rolling out global wellbeing campaigns. As Sir Ian Cheshire says in this article, while companies may be able to easily roll out strategies from other functions, mental health and wellbeing is not “a standard global conversation”, so it’s much trickier, and the stakes for getting it wrong, are much higher - read the full article from Suzy Bashford✨ here. #employeewellbeing #workplacewellbeing #globalbusiness

Founder Fierce Women in Business. Keynote Speaker, Professional Development, Corporate Trainer, Mental Health & Wellbeing Specialist, Educator, Mental Health First Aid Instructor
Hi, I’m Jennifer and I’m a Mental Health & Wellness Specialist. I have been walking alongside my clients for 25 years supporting them to manage their mental health, conquer self doubt, manage stress, and focus on creating balance in their lives so they can be happy and live the life they imagine. I do a lot in the Mental Health space but mainly I facilitate training like the Mental Health First Aid course with corporate teams and train community services on Case Management tools and techniques. You can see more on that on my other page Mental Health Training Solutions. Here is where I want to talk about working with women in business. In this arena, I help business women to conquer ‘Imposter Syndrome’ and ‘Self Doubt’ so they can build the business and ultimately the life, they have always dreamed. I started working with women in business for two reasons: ✨When I started my own online business, my own inner critic and self doubt was on fire 🔥. It just wouldn’t let me sleep. Criticising everything I did, every word I said, every idea I had and I started to truly believe that I wasn’t smart enough to run a business. Then, I discovered that our inner critic is there to protect us and I started working on the tools to conquer Self Doubt and Imposter Syndrome and here I am!! 😊 🤩 ✨Once I started talking to other women in business, I discovered that there were so many who felt exactly the same way that I did and I just felt compelled to do something about it. Have you ever felt that way? If you are a woman in business and you want to know more about how I can support you, then just DM me. I am always up for a chat 😊😁 You can also come into my world by joining the “Fierce Women in Business Networking Event” They are online monthly and they are totally free. Check out the next post for more details on these or DM me the word FIERCE and I will send you the details.
