Some good predictions on the media upfront rapidly approaching. Insiders from Havas, dentsu, and others weigh in. What is apparent is that a massive amount of money is going to be spent on productions and parties and celebrity engagements to focus largely on liners TV where the marketplace is seeing the most decline in viewership. I love a good party like the next person. However, if as an marketing industry we focused more on outcomes and saved the fancy parties to celebrate after results are up and business is booming, we might see a lot of the waste pushed out of the system. #linearTV #upfronts #mediaupfronts
