The students were able to get hands on learning and opportunities in different fields that they might be interested in. Also, students don't always know which field they should pursue in college and they might have three to four interests and so allowing them opportunities outside of the classroom to learn from professionals, network with professionals and be more independent. Is really paramount to their education. I feel like it's a good thing for me and other students to explore their fields so they could see if that's actually something they want to do. You've got lots of projects and things that our teams may not have time or resources for and students are really able to help with those. So it's a win win on both sides. Being able to get your hands on some of the workforce and actually getting comfortable with what you would be doing and and getting that experience. I ran into a lot of issues throughout my project and even though it took me like 3 months to do it. Kind of like learned a lot along the way. So problem solving is definitely like one of the biggest takeovers for this project. He was really excited to learn more. So just wanting to get in there, didn't hesitate to to try new things and to fail on some things and succeed in a lot. Kind of keep being innovative. So they also learn time management skills, other communication skills, computer science, it's all about coding and all that. But a lot of people don't understand that meeting new people such as you guys and the other people were trying to steal also. Kind of enlightened my experience. We're able to get students out and kind of broaden their perspective and see what's out there. They're able to make a a better choice. Having people and companies who are willing to work with our students, we can show them how great our district is and our our programs. This is like an opportunity I got. I could pay my own pathway and see what I want to do after high school. So yeah.To view or add a comment, sign in
