🌍 Today is Earth Overshoot Day, a crucial reminder that our planet's resources are finite and urgent action is required. At Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to the #movethedate initiative. Our climate targets, validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aim to keep global warming below 1.5°C. We plan to halve our direct and indirect CO2 emissions by 2030 (compared to 2021) and reduce Scope 3 emissions along our value chain by 25%. We're making strides by transitioning to renewable electricity, enhancing energy efficiency, and investing in innovative technologies. From 2022 to 2023, for our continuing operations, we've increased our renewable share by 15.5%, bringing our global renewable share to 62%. Vaisala's journey of increasing climate action and reducing emissions continues. Science Based Targets initiative (STBi) has now approved our near-term emission reduction targets.
