United by the OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon, Jet's Pizza, M3S Sports and Roosters Wings have donated more than $66,000 to the OhioHealth Foundation to provide funding for our scalp cooling therapy program, an innovative cancer care treatment that can help prevent or minimize hair loss from chemotherapy. The “Jet’s Pizza Gives Back” promotion and partnership with Zach Werenski of the Columbus Blue Jackets contributed to over $43,000 of the generous gift. This philanthropic support means cancer patients can retain a sense of dignity and control during their treatment journey – as most traditional insurance plans do not cover costs associated with scalp cooling.
