I was asked today what my title entailed as a Key Account Specialist. I found that it was difficult to answer that question instantaneously so I’ve thought about it all day long. I’m an advocate for my customer. I go to bat for you. Your best interest is the same as mine. At the end of the day, you conducting business with me puts food in my 8 year olds lunch box, pays for my sons daycare, allows for my daughter to play basketball, and keeps the hot water running in my home. If I don’t keep happy customers, I don’t get to pay my bills. The show doesn’t go on when I can’t keep customers on my schedule. I learned from a previous employer a term called “steel poles and absolutes”. These are things that are constant and doesn’t change regardless of what’s thrown my way. I want quality, I believe in integrity, and that safety comes before anything. With that comes accountability. I hold the people around me accountable. I expect the best because I give it my best. So, a Key Account Specialist is your advocate. We fight to win you and we fight to keep you. Without you, we don’t get to sit at a table together.

That salespeople are the spawn of the devil and we'd cut our own knees off to earn that sweet sweet commission. Being an account manager is about ensuring that the customer is seeing the best side of illumo digital, solving their problems, and ensuring the hard work the team does is appreciated by clients. What's one way people could make your job easier? Communicate with me! Knowing bad news sooner rather than later gives us the opportunity to think about what we're going to do and how we can go about addressing it with the client. Complete this sentence: "If I wasn't an account manager..." "I'd be a butcher or picking kiwis in New Zealand." Your job is now performed by an animal. What species is it? Absolutely a dog. Who wouldn't buy something from a dog?

Hi semua, it's been 3 weeks since I've been with KAYA MANAGEMENT and so far I feel happy and grateful... I've been an account executive for only three weeks, it turns out being an AE is really fun and not that difficult There are lots of new things that I get at KAYA, AE is generally tasked with finding clients and establishing good relationships to produce mutually beneficial cooperation. As an account executive you will deal with existing or new clients of a company. Account Executives have the main task of helping develop the company by finding new client prospects, monitoring client growth and ensuring client satisfaction in accordance with the client's desired needs. 1 week into Ramadan and so far I've managed to avoid any hangry conversations with clients so that's a positive right? Although it's difficult to be hangry when most of those calls have started with clients wishing me Ramadan Mubarak or Ramadan Kareem and asking me how it's going, which is always nice to hear! Working in Sales can be relentless and thankless at times but it doesn't have to be. Treat people as you yourself would want to be treated and who knows, you might be more likely to get what you want out of any calls/meetings ... especially if I'm your Account Manager :) #ramadankareem #sales #businesscontinuity

I woke up today and thought of penning down my journey till now. It's been 9 years since I joined Handiman Services. Having moved from executive to #SeniorOperationsManager at Handiman, it has been an enriching experience so far. The journey has been extraordinary. Their trust in me has made me work here till now. When I asked about the future of the company, the MD of Handiman, Porus Irani responded, "Our progress is going to be impressive; we've been around for 25 years, and we'll continue to do so successfully for another 25." When COVID hit, we lost a lot of clients. Our staff was downsized from 5000 to 2000 people. And because the company provided #facilities, managing it was extremely challenging. By God's grace, we managed to make a stunning comeback, and today we have a 7000 #workforce and serve over a thousand clients. As a Senior Operations Manager at Handiman, my journey has been filled with exciting challenges, opportunities for growth, and a significant impact on the company's operations. Being in Handiman I have learned many things, like time management.
