What a year 2023!! Curious about what we do at All In? Check out our recap post of the past year!
Our birthday posts typically start with celebratory exclamations, maybe with a couple of "Woots!" and a witty self-deprecating joke. It feels wrong to do that this year. How can we celebrate in the face of seemingly insurmountable injustices on so many levels within our own communities and across the world? Because we need to talk about the good work that is happening, even if it is at a smaller scale than the change we want to see. We must change the narrative of what is happening and what is possible. We need to instill hope, in the hope of inspiring action. So we share our 4th birthday post with deep gratitude for the community and public sector changemakers, clients, and collaborators who continue to inspire us with their determination, compassion, and creativity. https://lnkd.in/e49w2c7K #PublicSector #SocialSector #SocialGood #SocialChange #DesignJustice #ServiceDesign #SystemsThinking #HumanCentredDesign

To all my lawyer and soon-to-be lawyer friends: Can starting and running a (nonprofit) law firm be a "source of pride...and joy?" Yes, it can be. Watch this short video and see what Sarah Beth Withers has done in (lil) Washington, NC. What about you? Interested in being "a beacon of hope, an agent of change, and champion of justice?" It is possible. I'm not saying it'll be easy, but it can be done. Check out the Incubator for Legal Practice and Innovation: ILPI for more details - after watching the video!

👉We are accelerating societal transformation by harnessing the power of the most common human experience to reshape our values, cultural beliefs, and our emerging future. We believe in harnessing the will of the people, rooting the movement in their lived experiences, and aligning policies and systems for regenerative and distributive economies. 👉To achieve this mission, we work across health, social, and economic issues that are central in preserving the rights, dignity, and solvency of all bereaved individuals. This means we stand up to power — political or financial — when it seeks to marginalize, diminish, or take advantage of bereft people, particularly during life’s toughest moments. We stand firm in this mission, even when it requires us to take an inconvenient or unpopular point of view. 👉Our nation can do better. We are working every day to bring more and better resources to people and the professionals who serve them. Bereavement care in America is broken. 🕊️💛 We hope you will join us in making the world a more livable place for bereaved people. Learn more about our mission at Evermore.org.
