Gastric cancer, or stomach cancer, is a type of cancer that forms in the stomach lining. According to the American Association for Cancer Research, an estimated 26,500 new cases of stomach cancer will be diagnosed in the US, and an estimated 11,130 people will die from the disease this year alone. New statistics from the American cancer society show the increase in early onset colorectal cancer. #colorectalcancer (CRC) is now the leading cause of cancer death in younger men (<50 at diagnosis) #breastcancer is the leading cause of death among women who are 50 years or younger at diagnosis. CRC is the second most cause of cancer death but it’s increasing. CRC is expected to be the leading cause of cancer deaths in younger women by 2030.
