What a privilege to have been invited to attend this event, celebrating and accelerating partnership between two profoundly influential democracies: India and the United States. Topics have included: - deeper defense collaboration between startups & governments on both sides - public-private partnerships between universities and large enterprises - accelerating purchasing processes at the government level - enhancing policy and regulatory frameworks to enable faster adoption and proliferation of innovation - funding options for companies in both countries, esp. for defense tech In addition, the event also had General Stephen Whiting of United States Space Force speak about the growing prominent of space tech. As math and engineering nerds turned startup founders and investors, we at HKMC are very excited to see an impressive discussion focused on tech, investment, policy, and impact at such a deep inter-national level between these two countries with such strong startup ecosystems. An interesting take from #himss24: the conversations here are different than at #vive2024 or #hlth, and that’s good. Each event has a unique value.

This is the customary farewell post. After three days, 13 setups and hundreds of conversations, #EuMW2024 has come to an end. But rather than tell you how happy we are with how it all went (very), we want to leave you with three key insights from this year’s show: - There is a high demand for possibilities to test satellite components under realistic conditions, before sending them to space. - Many visitors asked about the capability to input proprietary signals into Rohde & Schwarz instruments, to apply impairments or interferers. - Our Pulse Sequencer’s ability to define and generate complex scenarios in a way that allows users to specify every detail in the application, surprised and impressed the #EuMW crowd Thank you to everyone who came by our booth.
