Successful executives often learn to balance this ambivalence by leveraging it as a tool for critical thinking and reflection while also developing the decisiveness required to drive action and lead effectively. Embracing ambivalence as a means to gather diverse viewpoints and then transitioning to a decisive mode when needed can be a valuable skill in leadership.

In the throes of a crisis, it's easy to overlook basic needs – including the fundamental act of eating. I've come to realize, both personally and professionally, the paramount importance of nutrition. Sometimes, amidst the overwhelming pressures, I too forget to eat. But it's in these critical moments that nourishment becomes more essential than ever. Feeding our employees is not just about satiating hunger; it's about fueling cognitive function, boosting morale, and nurturing resilience. During turbulent times, ensuring that everyone has access to proper meals is a testament to leadership that recognizes the holistic well-being of its team. So, whether you're leading a team or simply working alongside colleagues, remember to prioritize and remind each other about the importance of eating. Share food, create meal plans, or simply ask, "Have you eaten today?" Because when our minds and bodies are well-fed, we are better equipped to navigate challenges.
