Big moment for Nadav Steinmetz and myself:
The Climate First 2nd cohort program kicked off yesterday.
Participating companies met the Climate First team members, we discussed the program's highlights, and already dove into a first session with Ashwin Shashindranath - Partner at Energy Impact Partners who gave us in-depth look into climate fundraising.
Participants were excited and motivated, and so are we.
In such tough, challenging time for Israeli startups, the best thing we can do is keep building, and supporting great companies in doing so. Even now. Especially now.
We're just getting warmed up.

Reflecting on the unforgettable days spent in #Paris for ChangeNOW, one of the world's largest impact events, we are filled with gratitude. Over 30,000 changemakers converged in the city of light, driven by a shared mission to forge a better world. A special shoutout to Pierre Lorenceau🌳, Valentine Quiniou, Agathe Piffeteau, Edouard Meunier, and the entire team at Top Tier Impact and for orchestrating not just an event, but a movement. Top Tier Impact France's series of invite-only side events were nothing short of revolutionary, gathering the most active climate investors, climate unicorns, and leading corporations across agriculture, retail, and luxury goods. The energy in those rooms, where ideas flowed and connections were made, was electrifying.
A personal thank you from our General Partner, Nic Gorini, to the Top Tier Impact team: "The excitement of those days was palpable. When you bring together leaders in climate tech—investing, innovating, and scaling the sector that promises not just to change the world but also to drive economic growth and offer returns surpassing traditional tech investments in the US—the resulting energy is unparalleled."
Here's to the impact we've started in Paris, to the changes we're driving, and to the future we're building together. #ChangeNow#ClimateTech#SustainableInvesting#ImpactInvesting"

We recently gathered at the DeepTech Alliance Clean Energy Summit in Barcelona to discuss how radical innovations can drive the future of clean energy. Enrico Deluchi, Chairman of DeepTech Alliance, reflected on the forming of the Alliance and the importance of international collaboration in transforming global challenges into growth opportunities.
🔹 The Vision: Radical innovations and international collaboration is badly needed to tackle global challenges such as carbon emissions reduction and supply chain transformations. For this reason DTU Science Park and The Danish Industry Foundation initiated DeepTech Alliance in 2018 to join forces with other startup ecosystem hubs across Europe to connect the most promising European Deep Tech startups with business partners needed to get their solutions to market and scale internationally
🔹 Achievements: Since 2021, we have assessed over 6,500 ventures, conducted six Business Creation Programs, and identified 220 business opportunities. Our efforts have enabled successful collaborations like TechEnergy Ventures' investment in Luminescent and Bosch's partnership with IPercept.
🔹 The Challenge: Despite Europe's world-class scientific research, much of our intellectual property remains commercially inactive. By fostering cross-border collaborations, we aim to bring Europe to the forefront of global innovation.
🔹 Looking Forward: With 10 member countries and a goal to reach 20 by 2026, the DeepTech Alliance is growing. We are excited to welcome Beta-i • collaborative innovation from Portugal as our 11th member and look forward to upcoming events in Munich, Oslo, and Paris.
Enrico’s closing thoughts resonate deeply: "Transforming problems into opportunities requires more collaboration, innovation, and goodwill. By joining forces, we can unleash the full potential of European science-based innovation for global impact."
Thanks to The Collider and Mobile World Capital Barcelona for hosting a great event for the alliance. Let's continue to drive innovation and collaboration for a sustainable and just future. 🚀💡
