Embracing a demand-led recruitment strategy involves understanding businesses and their specific hiring needs, all while championing inclusivity. SRDC's latest research highlights the success of a demand-side employment model, fostering inclusive work environments while addressing the requirements of BC-based employers. Through collaborative efforts, the project facilitated the successful match of 122 candidates with disabilities to employment. Notably, nearly 88% of them were still thriving in their roles six months later, surpassing our retention targets.
