Water quality in many countries has significantly deteriorated in recent years due to industry, plastic waste, and periods of drought and flooding. The urgency of these issues calls for our collective commitment to finding smart, technological solutions to use the available water more efficiently. The ASEAN region also aims to make better use of industrial wastewater or even reuse it, a goal that we can achieve together. Tomorrow starts the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW). The SIWW - held every two years - is a global platform that hosts global leaders from industry, government and research, to discuss and co-create, innovate water, coastal and flood solutions. This year, the focus will be on water technology and coastal and flood resilience, addressing issues that are of global concern and require collective action. A Dutch delegation of water experts - including the participation of Dutch water envoy Meike van Ginneken - will be attending the SIWW to discuss the water challenges in Southeast Asia. We invite you to visit the Netherlands Pavilion that will be located on Hall A, stand L1-F11. In addition to the Pavilion, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Singapore will host several events to boost new partnerships and strengthen existing ones: https://lnkd.in/ez2cTxKf Join us in taking water action and discuss water solutions!
