I am 100% aligned with Verena Pausder in general and a big fan but today I totally disagree: We don’t need additional R&D programs like Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in the 🇺🇸 We have 100s of state funded programs and research institutions. The best output on state funded R&D since WW2 so far is #MP3 ;) What start-ups need are government contracts! When you have real world customers the real work starts. Both sides profit and market will decide what works. Everything else is just playing around.
