Forget one-and-done events. 2024 is all about building real, lasting connections that thrive beyond the conference hall Create a space where people feel valued, not just another attendee. Ditch the impersonal vibes and foster genuine connections. Think of small talk, shared experiences, and an environment where everyone feels welcome to be themselves. Unforgettable events equal sticky communities. Make your event an experience, not just a presentation. Spark meaningful conversations, encourage interaction, and leave people wanting more. When they feel supported and connected, they'll be eager to stay in touch long after the last keynote. Make 2024 the year your event becomes a community that truly connects. #EventMarketing #EventPlanning #EventNetworking #EventEngagement #CommunityBuilding #BeyondConferences

Have you ever left a conference feeling like you just sat through a really long lecture? 😅 I've been there—attended well orchestrated events where everything technically works, but something’s missing. And over time, I’ve realised that “something” is community. People don’t just come to conferences for the content—they come to connect, to be inspired, and to feel part of something bigger. It’s those little conversations over coffee, the shared laughter during breaks, and the realisation that you’re not alone in your challenges that make an event memorable. That’s what we focus on at Eventribe: creating spaces where connections happen naturally, and people walk away feeling like they gained more than just knowledge but real connections! If you’re curious about how to make your next event less ‘lecture-y’ and more ‘community-driven,’ let’s chat. I’ve got a link in my profile for a free strategy call—let’s build something people actually want to attend. #events #eventmanagement #community #networking #conferences

⭐️ To My Event Planners and Conference Organizer Friends, As you plan your next event or conference, remember that people come not just for the content, but for the connections they make with others. When attendees feel seen, heard, and understood, they are more likely to feel a sense of belonging both at the event and in their wider communities. As such, it is important to create opportunities for meaningful interactions, such as group discussions, networking sessions, and collaborative fun activities. By fostering a sense of community, you can encourage attendees to return to your events again and again. Winning! I believe with all my heart that true success in our businesses, and enjoying a fulfilling happy life is through the relationships we form, the connections we make, and the communities we build. 🥰 "Embrace the beauty and power of meaningful relationships, cherish connections that nourish your soul, build vibrant communities where everyone thrives, and infuse every moment with joy and laughter.” - Bonnie So, while content is important, don't forget about the power of human connection. My friends, if your audience is ready to break free from self-limiting beliefs, take charge of their own narrative, and propel themselves into unlimited possibilities, my Motivational Keynote ‘The Possible’ is for you! Let's collaborate and create an unforgettable experience for your attendees. Care, collaboration, co-creation, and conversation are the heartbeat of connected event. These elements extend the life of connections far beyond the applause of a closing keynote, creating a community that resonates. 😊 Care: As the event organizer, it's absolutely imperative that you care about your craft and the attendee experience. Imperfection is okay, but carelessness is not. 😊 Collaboration: Providing a space for participants to share challenges and solutions opens the door for deep conversations that will transcend business. 😊 Co-creation: This is where the magic happens. When the collaborations turn into ideas on how to work together, that's when new and different relationships form that blossom. 😊 Conversation: If engagement is what you're after, seeing your participants deep in conversation with each other throughout your event should make your heart sing. 😊 Connection: You can't create an event and shortcut straight to connection. You have to build on all the previous four "Cs" to pave the way. 😊 Community: Transforming transactions into relationships is the true value. Need help crafting the plan to do this at your next event? #EventHeartbeat #ConnectedCommunity ------- Hi, I'm Liz. I help marketers connect. I want to share a concept/format discussion we have had in our organization – twoHundred. As many other event companies, we've played with the idea of blending face-to-face events with online setups – the hybrid event concept. While these hybrids offer convenience and reach, in our eyes, they miss the heart and soul of pure face-to-face gatherings, where you truly connect with your audience – the entire audience. The spontaneity of in-person exchanges cultivates richer interactions and genuine bonds, networking, and trust building. Something we have concluded that virtual settings struggle to capture. Furthermore, our conversations circle round the possible situation that hybrid setups risk diluting the event's energy, leaving online participants feeling disconnected and harder to engage with – after the event. Without that face-to-face spark, the trust-building and lasting connections are compromised. While hybrids cater to diverse needs, they can't quite replicate the magic of a fully in-person experience. Just sharing our POV

This 85 second video hits the nail on the head. The legend that is Mark Masters talks about his approach to his own event Creator Day (highly recommended!) Mark highlighted the importance of curating the event experience. It's all about providing real value and learning opportunities. At UpLift Live, we're focused on creating sessions that offer practical takeaways and engaging topics that matter. The ability to facilitate networking is critical. It's not just about gathering people; it's about creating opportunities for meaningful interactions and connections. We're dedicated to making UpLift Live a space where attendees can easily communicate and reach out to each other pre, during and post-event. Finally, nurturing the community is key. A successful event is one where attendees not only gain knowledge but also feel part of a community. They should leave feeling encouraged to spread the word about their positive experience. Mark's emphasis on these elements aligns perfectly with our vision for UpLift Live. We're more than just a conference; we're a platform for sharing ideas, building friendships, and creating a welcoming community. Ticket prices go up on Thursday - take advantage of savings now. #UpLiftLive

Best Ice-breakers to open your in-person community events with. The beginning of any in-person event is a pivotal moment. It's when attendees are just starting to get comfortable and open up to connecting with new people. Using the right ice-breakers can be the secret sauce for creating an engaging, community-driven event experience. Here's why the right kind of ice-breakers in the beginning are essential: - They help people feel comfortable opening up. A well-chosen prompt gives attendees an easy way to share a bit about themselves. - They encourage deeper, more meaningful interactions. When people have an opportunity to share authentically, it lays the groundwork for creating deeper connections. - They set the tone for the entire event. Memorable icebreakers leave a lasting positive impression and keep people energized. Here are some of my favorite ice-breaker prompts to add to the beginning of an event: - What’s your intention for attending this experience? - What’s a rose, bud and thorn in your life right now? - What’s something you’re grateful for? - If you really knew me, you would know (share 3x if you want to go deeper) The right icebreakers can truly transform your event from OK to unforgettable. Start your event off on the right foot by giving attendees a fun, engaging way to get to know each other. #community #communityevents #communitybuilder #inpersonevents #icebreakers #teambuilding
