A global perspective on human-centric recruitment emphasises the importance of inclusivity, welcoming talent from various backgrounds and experiences. 2. Cultivating Global Competencies: In an era where international collaboration is the norm, individuals must possess global competencies. Human-centric education recruitment places an emphasis on skills such as intercultural communication, adaptability, and global citizenship. 3. Leveraging Technology: The global shift toward human-centric practices is facilitated by cutting-edge technologies that enable remote learning, virtual collaboration, and talent sourcing from around the world. Connor Diemand-Yauman, co-founder and co-CEO of Merit America. "Our economy was leaving talent on the table, creating a missed opportunity for both families and communities. Hiring non-degree workers dismantles this barrier." As someone who is shifting careers from teaching to IT, I welcome this attitude because it means I will be considered for my skills, experience, communication acumen in 4 languages. Hopefully, this shift in attitude will catch on in Europe and the UK too. The article confirms this by saying - This can be particularly beneficial in the tech industry, as 61% of employers are looking to fill roles in 2024, according to Robert Half Technology. Skills over qualifications. How exciting that the world of work is moving to skills over qualifications, where I would love to think a really Inclusive workplace is possible. Including everyone and empowering them to do the roles that they are great at based on skills, not qualification ensures the widest and best candidate pool is available while having the double benefit of growing UK Plc and improving productivity. Something to bear in mind for anyone waiting for A level results tomorrow. Something that YourGamePlan are helping young people with and companies can help upskill and recruit young people through them. Exams and degrees shouldn't be the be all and end all. And it also should include the over 50’s where retirement is no longer a really relevant word and a different way of working and reskilling is possible when you focus on skills in the hiring process. Something that 55/Redefined are great at helping companies with. Inclusivity is the answer to improved productivity. This is where the market is moving and long overdue. #inclusiveculture #growth #productivity #workplaceforall Lyndsey Simpson Danny Heath Graduates no longer companies’ top priority

Customer Relationship Specialist || Delivering exceptional customer service and implementing strategies to elevate the customer experience.
Securing employment in the UK as an international student has been incredibly challenging. During studies, applying for jobs often leads to recruiters insisting on full-time commitment, disregarding part-time students. Consequently, many resort to menial jobs to sustain themselves until graduation, with the hope of fully entering the labor market thereafter. However, upon completing studies or nearing graduation, restarting the job search reveals a new hurdle: recruiters now require 2 to 3 years of UK experience. To recruiters, we urge you to recognize that without opportunities, we cannot gain the necessary experience. Lack of UK experience does not diminish our ability to excel in roles or mean we lack experience altogether. Countless international students face this dilemma. We implore you to give us a chance, an opportunity to showcase our capabilities. #employmentopportunities #uk #students #recruitment #opportunities
