This year at The Gathering at Cannes Lions — Meta's annual event where industry leaders discuss the ideas, investments, and initiatives needed to support DEI and solve real-world problems — I was joined by Taide Guajardo of Procter & Gamble and Phil Smith of the ISBA to highlight the ways we can better support people living with disabilities through technology. Our main takeaway? It’s not possible to be inclusive until everyone is included — and the marketing and advertising community has a huge responsibility in ensuring that campaigns can be experienced by individuals with visual, auditory, cognitive, or motor impairments.
