When one thinks of #hydrogen, they probably don't immediately think about it being sorted by colours. 🌈 Did you know that these colours have specific meanings? Let us explain! 💡 Hydrogen for industrial use can be produced from various sources and with different methods. The #productionprocess and the raw material determine the "colour" of the hydrogen. 🔬 In Germany, about 95% of the produced hydrogen is "grey". This means it is produced from fossil fuels like natural gas and not from sustainable sources. 🌱 Green hydrogen comes exclusively from sustainable resources or sustainable production.
