The Conference Board and PwC surveyed more than 600 public company C-suite executives about their boards’ effectiveness. When it comes to fundamental board responsibilities, such as #crisisoversight, #corporateculture, #shareholderengagement, and #CEOsuccession, executives have notably more trust in their boards: 🚨 Crisis leadership: 66% of C-suite executives trust their boards to guide the company through a crisis vs. 48% in 2022. 🎯Purpose and values: 68% trust their boards to make decisions consistent with the company’s purpose and values vs. 50% in 2022. 🤝Shareholder engagement: 76% trust their boards to effectively engage with shareholders vs. 68% in 2022. 💼 Succession: 63% trust their boards to effectively identify candidates for CEO succession vs. 56% in 2022.
