On behalf of more than 500 health care professionals here at New England Life Care, I want to thank you and your physician for entrusting us to be part of your care team. New England Life Care has been providing home infusion services to patients throughout northern New England for more than 35 years. Even though we've grown to be the largest provider of home infusion services in Northern New England, we've never lost sight of keeping your care. Comfort and safety. First in all, we do all of our staff here at NELC oriented and trained to treat each patient like a family member. So whether you're in her care for a week, a month or longer, it's our goal to offer the safest, most effective care and service that helps restore your good health. This brief video was designed specifically to begin that process. Here we will introduce you to three patients who have generously agreed to share with you their home infusion experience with New England Life Care. New England Life Care is a nationally recognized nonprofit home infusion therapy and specialty pharmacy services provider committed to helping our patients live their lives as fully and independently as possible. As a charitable, community based organization, we provide support and counseling for patients with limited or no financial means to pay and we improve the health of our communities, making healthcare more affordable as a 501 E nonprofit hospital. Cooperative NEC has over 65 member hospitals, including the largest and most prestigious academic medical centers in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, as well as major healthcare systems serving Northern New England. Through the growth of our partnerships with our member hospitals, NLC now has branch locations providing care to patients from Massachusetts to the Canadian border, a service area of more than 65,000. Square miles providing care to over 5000 patients 24/7, 365 days a year Since our founding in 1987, New England Life Cares Advanced Home Clinical Services have focused on helping our patients leave the hospital as soon as possible and regain good health and independence in the comfort of their own home. For all of 2014, I all of a sudden just could not eat and after losing a lot of weight, not being able to eat anything by mouth. My doctor put the idea into my head that we needed to get me on TPN or else I would be failure to thrive. So that's when we we went on the TPN. The TPN was the only way that it was going to keep me alive, and when my doctor told me that I had colon cancer, my options were to let it go. Or if I had that removed, I would end up being on hydration every day for the rest of my life. I've been using New England life here for many years, I think maybe 9 or 10 years it's been, you know, so they're they're wonderful here. It has given me life. It is my lifeline. Leahy Burlington was encouraging Remicade patients to actively pursue a home infusion. And I agree to it instantly. I mean, I come home right after work and I get my infusion and I'm. I'm good to go 2 hours later. You know, it's great. From your hospital bed to your home, our dedicated, compassionate and highly skilled clinicians are always here for you. Fusion companies. So we're different. Than A V and A in that we specialize in all things Ivy, You know, whether it's chemotherapy, biologic, infusions, antibiotics, you name it, and everything in between. I love being with the patient. I love having the time to be with the patient. I loved about being able to develop a relationship outside of the hospital setting. It's it's it's a very different experience for nurses. I couldn't do it without them. The support that they give me, they are so warm, so caring. When I talked to someone here, I feel like I've known them my whole life. I really do and they're very knowledgeable on what you need, what you're going through and and how to make you feel comfortable. I'm very happy with the care here. The medications, equipment and supplies needed for home infusion therapies are specific to each patients needs and treatment. LAN and are not found in a traditional pharmacy setting. The nurses, dietitians and pharmacists of New England Life Care oversee every aspect of your home infusion or nutritional support care plans, collaborating with your medical team and caregivers, continuously monitoring your medications, equipment and your response to your therapy. Between my nutritionist at the hospital who relays all the information to New England life care and to my nurse. So it's it's a very good team that I have and I feel very comfortable that all my nutrition needs are met through this system that we have. The nurse would come visit and she's the one that taught me how to set up an infuse myself, you know, and she came for a year, you know, almost every day and then once a week. And then eventually I took over and I do it myself at home. New England Life Cares compounding center adheres to the highest safety and regulatory standards in the preparation of medications utilizing the latest technology and equipment in state-of-the-art clean rooms. Every order is reviewed by a licensed pharmacist to ensure the proper dose and medication for your specific treatment plan and then delivered when and where it's needed by our prompt reliable. Any ELC team basically 24 hours, seven days a week service. If patient does have a question that we can't reach them or they have needs over the weekends or after hours, they're able to contact us and we'll take it from there. In the beginning every week I would get a call from Paul or Dan to set up my delivery for the following week and we got to talking you know, about our lives and and things and interest and Paul I found out. Ours is an artist and we have a summer home up in Canada. And I had sent them postcards of this beautiful place where we go, and Paul asked if he could paint a picture of one of them and he painted one of the most beautiful pictures of a place up in Prince Edward Island where we go. You know, everyone at New England life care has been excellent, from the nurse here, Lisa, my nurse, to all the people I talk to on a weekly basis. Everybody has been fantastic folks on the phone to the gentleman who delivers the medicine and the pumps and all the equipment to most importantly, the nurses, Terrific people at the pharmacy, girls, you know, the nurses, the caretakers. Any question you have, if they don't have the answer, they will get somebody that does have the answer for you. And they get right back to me. They're they're marvelous. Say I love it.
