This past weekend was my 4th Workiversary with Olympus Property! 💙 You only understand the difference between a good place to work and a GREAT place to work once you experience it, and while there may not be a magical formula, if there was, Olympus nailed it. As our Talent Acquisition Manager and a Recruiter, I have a lot of conversations about how much of a difference it makes when company values are genuinely present, setting the foundation for how the organization operates, the employees feel, and the customers are cared for. Just like a home with a poor foundation, a company without a strong foundation will begin to shift and crack. The structure is sturdy when that foundation is strong, and everything within it remains intact and well-preserved. In my life, I have experienced that I can go alone, very fast, and have a lot of challenges. That has worked but only for a while 😎. What I found best for myself doing the same things together with the team I can go multiple times longer distances. Because in doing so I have 1 1=3 synergy. It is fun to surround yourself with great, educated people. Sometimes it's hard to recognize, but a kick is needed to start moving. This week, we hosted a virtual all-staff meeting at D'Ieteren, and I couldn't be more proud of the incredible teamwork and engagement from everyone involved. 10 of our talented colleagues took the stage, while another 10 worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. We spent an hour discussing key topics and answering live questions from our colleagues. It was truly inspiring to see hundreds of you online, actively participating and sharing your thoughts. This event was a fantastic way to wrap up the first semester of the year, and it's clear that this won't be the last time we come together like this. Thank you to everyone who made this possible and to all who joined us. Here's to many more successful and collaborative sessions ahead!

Lessons from managing part-time interns: 1. Overtly communicate *and* document: Instructions, examples, and purpose help you receive what you *actually* want. Proper documentation enables you to scale. 2. *Give* and take: Enrichment sessions for their benefit and connections to help them on their career journeys help build relationships. 3. Seek feedback: Continuous feedback (shout out to Kaizen and the andon cord) on what can improve *and* what's working yields better outcomes. Don't forget to also offboard intentionally!

Lost at Judicial Review and Novuna are now ignoring the Rule of Law by continuing to reject timeshare consumer complaints. For all of you thinking that Novuna are the epitome of success, let’s hope it’s not a member of your family,or a relative of yours who have fallen foul of Novuna’s disgraceful consumer mis-selling. When they remove this post because they don’t want people to know how they are treating elderly, terminally ill consumers we will repost and continue to do so until they do the right thing.
