On April 28, ART& New York returned with a week of events celebrating the intersections between art and culture. Members and guests from our New York creative community and beyond gathered for dinners, parties, gallery tours and artist talks, both on site at NeueHouse Madison Square and at fairs around the city. Special thanks to our partners artnet, Campari Group, Falconeri and Frieze. Explore the whole week: https://lnkd.in/dK5sAKrr

Read this week’s report in which we focus on Paris Art Week, where the second edition of Paris by Art Basel, various satellite art fairs, gallery openings and an exceptional private auction helped to assert Paris’ position as a reawakening giant in the contemporary art scene. #arteducation #artfairs #artinvestment #diversification

One of the most important aspects to consider before signing up for an art fair, art walk, art festival, or similar event is how the producers intend to publicize it. It can be held in a beautiful space and filled with exhibitors but if nobody knows it's happening, nobody's gonna come. Publicity is the responsibility of the producers, not the exhibitors. Some publicize plenty, others hardly at all. Find out their plans. Get the specifics. Research their past events, especially how many attended.

I have selected this work for the offer "Behind the Masks of Utopian Joy", which will be held at Chili Art Gallery (13-15 Dimofontos Street, Thissio) from Thursday, 22 February to Saturday, 2 March 2024 and online via ARTgrid, for a month. I have four works to choose from. Two of them will be selected to be put on display during the exhibition. The works are available in 5 hand-signed prints on museum-quality materials. I'm very interested in the exhibition's theme: what's behind the overly optimistic masks. What do we use to mask or reveal our thoughts/feelings? 1. Red Scarf 3
