The shift from traditional engineering technology to IP, Cloud and ubiquitous networking would be challenging enough but broadcasters are also having to make investment decisions on how to incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning models, all with the hope of driving efficiency in the future, while addressing the ever growing number of non-linear, live and distributed workflows today. No corner of the industry is immune from these challenges. From hyperscaler and broadcaster to live event producer and vendor there is a need to focus on navigating the industry’s future, with greater collaboration than ever before. We must not forget that at the heart of our industry remains people.
