A demonstration of our SOEC core under industrial conditions showed that our SOEC cells operate at high levels of stability while maintaining stable temperature levels. The demo, involving 12 stacks and 1200 cells, successfully operated at a combined stack power of 350 kW. These findings are important, highlighting the potential of SOEC technology to achieve efficiency and reliability at an industrial scale. Last week, CarbonCapture Inc. reached a significant milestone by demonstrating their innovative Leo Series modular DAC (direct air capture) system to strategic partners, government officials, and the media at a private event. This cutting-edge DAC system will be manufactured in a new 83,000-square-foot facility in Mesa, Arizona, with the capacity to produce up to 4,000 modules annually—equivalent to removing over two megatons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere each year. Designed for mass production and easy global transport, each Leo Series module, the size of a standard shipping container, can capture over 500 tons of CO2 annually.
