Neighborcare Chief of Community Engagement Candace Jackson recently took part in a panel discussing bidirectional relationship building. She made a point of reminding attendees that working with community-based organizations is not just about money. “Resources come and go,” she said. ”It’s not that we don’t need resources, but if we rely on money to maintain and sustain the relationship, it’s not going very far. We may have one partner who can provide food. Somebody else may have a place. Share that and do that as a mainstay even when resources are plentiful. Recognize the resource that we are.” Read more about the panel and the Pathways to Equity Symposium at the link. #ValueCHCs #NeighborcareHealth #Neighborcare #Seattle #PugetSound #HealthcareForAll #HealthEquity #CHC #CommunityAction #SeattleNonProfit https://lnkd.in/gNxpDpXB
