Today, INDUJAA MAHILA MILK PRODUCER COMPANY LIMITED celebrates a significant milestone since its inception in 2018. With support from DHANI and technical assistance from NDDB Dairy Services, Indujaa continues to make a profound impact in the agriculturally challenged Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. Indujaa with the support of National Dairy Development Board has taken a step forward by addressing the problem of fodder scarcity in the region, by helping establish Yashashvi Fodder and Agri Producer Company which envisages to mass-produce green fodder, dry fodder, and silage. The fodder FPO has paved its way to achieve success by ensuring a consistent, high-quality fodder supply in the region that will boost milk yield, overcoming a major hurdle in sustainable dairy farming by providing steady income and economic stability to farmers. Here’s wishing for Indujaa to empower many more women dairy farmers by creating a sustainable impact through dairying. #dairy #farmers #NDDBDairyServices #aazadikaamritmahotsav #aatmanirbharbharat #amritkaal

PVT carried out at Jamadarpada, Chandahandi block in Nowrangpur district under OMM being participated by Jay Thuamul Rampur Organic Farmer Producer Company Limited (JKOFPCL) promoted by The Human Development (THD). Participatory Varietal Trial (PVT) is one of the most important experiments to compare the yield performance between respective varieties under a certain condition. It is also important for us to make a plan of the cultivation strategy such as a cultivation calendar for each variety used by farmers. A variety trial entails growing different varieties of a crop alongside each other in order to directly compare their performance across any number of characteristics. #agricultureandfarmingg #FarmersEmpowerment #farmingforthefuture #nutritionmatters #milletsofindia #milletsmission #back2millets #krushibibhag #ShreeAnna #internationalyearofmillets2023 #ArvindPadhee #wassanindia #OdishaMilletsMission #healthyliving #NutritionRevolution #ficciindia #MilletsOdisha #worldfoodprogramme #farmersofindia #farmingtechniques #newconcepts #packageofpractices #technologysolutions

Promotion of ODOP Product - Turmeric In Himachal Pradesh, the per capita handloading is about 0.95 hec. which is nearly less than the national average and also 70 percent of the area is under Forest. 90% of the state population resides in rural settlements and agriculture is the main occupation of most of the population. Due to low handholding and hills areas, it is very difficult to make agriculture profitable. Considering climate change, the intensity of rainfall is increasing and results in sheet erosion, and reduction in organic content in the soil. There is a need to synchronize efforts to make agriculture profitable by creating a brand for local products of the Hill region and selling them at higher prices. The ODOP can act as a pivot point to make agriculture profitable and organize small farmers under FPOs or FPC's or Producer groups. So trying to build the brands for ODOPs in Himachal. For Example - Working with the farmers of Bilaspur to promote Turmeric as it is an ODOP product. #ODOP #himachalpradesh #agriculture #Farmers #branding #climateresilience

This initiative also guarantees consumers access to a diverse range of chemical-free vegetables year-round at fixed, transparent prices. 💰 Founded over 16 years ago in response to the stark disparities Ananthoo witnessed in fruit pricing, OFM has evolved into a national movement, impacting farmers across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, and parts of Himachal Pradesh. Their model focuses on consistent availability of safe food, fair pricing, livelihood protection for farmers, and raising awareness about safe agricultural practices. 🧺 Through their cooperative stores and community-driven approach, OFM has created a sustainable marketplace where farmers can thrive despite challenges like fluctuating harvests and infrastructural setbacks.
