MAKE THIS POST GO VIRAL!!! There are no ex-Presidents! Period. Media really needs to be disciplined and refer to our Presidents as "former" and not "ex". Much like there are no "ex-Marines," the title of President is one that stays with an individual even after their term ends, so get over yourself. Stop it. I've seen "ex-president" used more with Donald J. Trump than any other living former President, and it needs to cease, now. It is disrespectful to them, thier office and all of us they took an oath to serve (some better than others) and does not align with our principles, values and tenets in this Democratic-Republic we call home. Yes I said it, Democratic-Republic, and I'll say it again. The reasoning is simple yet profound: once someone has held the office of President of the United States or any other similar office, they have experienced something unique and transformative. It's not just a job or a title that you shed when you leave; it's a part of your identity and your legacy. Just as us U.S. Marines proudly retain the title once earned, former Presidents continue to be addressed with the respect and recognition that comes with having held the highest office in the land. It signifies a profound respect for the office itself and acknowledges the enduring impact of their service. So, the next time you hear someone refer to a former President, remember that it's not just semantics—it's a reflection of the enduring significance of their tenure and the respect owed to their contributions to history. Check out this new post written by the amazing Michael G. Stroud!
Ulysses S. Grant cut his teeth in the American West, but it would be his move to the East where his reputation would truly take hold. Following the Union defeat at Chickamauga in September 1863 they pulled back to the transportation hub that was Chattanooga where the cantankerous Confederate General Braxton Bragg laid siege, hoping to starve them into submission. Grant would have other plans. Read Michael G. Stroud's new post here https://lnkd.in/ewmjS6dq

The Interstate 11 through Arizona running border to border (Mexico to Nevada and eventually on up into Canada), will transform the future of Arizona in unimaginable ways: more commerce, more jobs, more tourism, a better economy and a safer more efficient traversing of our roadways.
Leadership Spotlight: I-11 Coalition Chairman, Christian Price, said, "As a former Mayor, I understand the importance of sound transportation policy. These conversations are sometimes tough, it takes foresight and making hard decisions today for a better tomorrow. I joined the I-11 Coalition because of my passion to make Arizona a competitive economy, but to also set up our state and nation for future success. Our decisions will not only impact us, but will also impact our children, our grandchildren and our great grandchildren! I am honored to participate in the Coalition's efforts to connect our western states, enhance trade, and improve the safety of our roads." #AZtransportation #I11 #BetterTomorrow

Good news for a lot of good people. As a sustainability expert, I can't help but hope expansion reaches beyond cell service. At their core they are a real estate trust and a lot more could be done with that real estate. Most of their towers are compatible with modern wind turbines and it doesn't impact service to produce energy with them at the towers. Just add some battery storage into the existing base square footage, many have a utility building onsite already, and you have emergency power. This power is already hooked into their service, the electrical grid, and the greater community using that cell service and that grid. Spread this technology across their tower network, you got a lot of kWh being produced. The infrastructure is already in place. The technology exists. The people on the ground are adaptable. The companies of the future will use multi-faceted sustainable solutions that involve renewable energy. This essentially eliminates their electric bill and potentially provides an additional source of revenue. With energy prices increasing, not investing in their own grid poses financial risk. Additionally, because the grid and tower are already there, the cost to create renewable energy at these sites, and the extreme reduction in resources needed to do such, is impossible to ignore. Help the company, help the stockholders, help the community, help the environment, create new streams of revenue, reduce strain on infrastructure, and reduce the resources consumed to create renewable energy. Its beyond a win-win solution.
Not sure what tomorrow will bring, but today is a good day for Washington County, my CCI friends and family. ❤️ Crown Castle

This Friday all the St. Charles County CAPS strands: Tech, Healthcare, and Buisness came together for teamwork exercises.🤝 Leading these Teamwork exercises was the US Army National Guard.🫡 we did a variety of different activities some with people we have never met before. 🔥CHALLENGES🔥 1. Tug of War - a simple yet effective way of getting us to realize that we have to communicate and pull together rather than alone. 2. The Tangled Circle - In this challenge we all got in a circle and locked hands with strangers across from us. Next we proceeded to try and untangle ourselves till we made a perfect circle. This led to us having to all talk and share ideas on who moves where to untangle ourselves. 3. The Plank Walk - In this challenge we had 2 Planks with ropes on the front and back that our teams loaded on to. Next we raced and had to communicate with our teams "RIGHT FOOT, LEFT FOOT" essentially telling our team when to step and which foot. 4. The Web of Doom! - In this challenge we were faced with a web filled with holes large to small. We took turns going through these holes making sure not to touch the webbing. If someone went through the same hole or touched the webbing we lost. 5. The Bridge - In this challenge we had two blocks separated from each other by a distance greater than the plank we were given. However we had two Planks so we had to put our ideas together as a team to formulate a plan to get across the river of lava. The key to this challenge was how you set the Planks up and where you put your weight. Overall this experience really opened up my mind. There are so many people that communicate the same language yet in such a different way. If we are to improve our soft skills and our abilities to work in a team we have to learn to adapt to others styles of communicating and work together with them! 🌉🤝🎊 Also thanks John Omoresemi for the amazing edit!👍 #careerdevelopment #careerexploration #nationalgaurd #tech #teamwork
