Intracom Defense: Demonstration of a "Kill Web" by unmanned systems in the Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Taking into account the general trends in the Art and Science of War, we observe that the Great Powers are giving special emphasis on the creation and operational use of #unmanned speedboats (USVs). Both the US-Great Britain axis and the #china- #iran- #turkey geopolitical axis are evolving their existing #naval combat model by integrating surface #drones in order to upgrade their presence in the geographic areas they operate in. The main objective of creating USVs appears to be both cost-effectiveness (economic-operational) asymmetry and sharing of the functions available to a surface naval unit. As we saw at the DEFEA-2023 defense exhibition, the Greek company INTRACOM DEFENSE has conducted significant leaps in the development of unmanned robotic vehicles, command and control centers and an integrated "Kill-Chain" for conducting coordinated operations in the aeronautical environment of the Eastern Mediterranean. Pentagon JADC2 program and development of a Domestic Kill Web for the Aegean JADC2 (Joint All Domain Command and Control) is a Pentagon program designed to unify the communication systems of all #military branches into a single interconnected network, often referred to as ''Kill-Web''. A major challenge is that many pieces of equipment from different services were not originally designed to communicate with each other. #Yemen - USCENTCOM - 26 February Red Sea Update: On Feb. 26, between the hours of 4:45 p.m. and 11:45a p.m. (Sanaa time), U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces destroyed three unmanned surface vessels (USV), two mobile anti-ship cruise missiles (ASCM), and a one-way attack unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in self-defense. The USV and ASCM weapons were prepared to launch towards, and the UAV was over, the Red Sea. CENTCOM forces identified the USVs and missiles in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, as well as the UAV over the Red Sea, and determined that they presented an imminent threat to merchant vessels and to the U.S. Navy ships in the region. These actions are taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for U.S. Navy and merchant vessels. https://lnkd.in/eMYnMCPE

Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance is becoming increasingly dangerous. Unmanned aircraft such as #MQ9 can help keep human pilots and crews out of harm’s way. #AFASeptember In more than a dozen incidents around the world over the past two years, irresponsible pilots have threatened, harassed, damaged and, in some cases, destroyed American or allied ISR aircraft, often placing the pilots and air crews inside in extreme jeopardy. Unmanned aircraft are not immune to such harassment, as shown by the Russian fighter collision with an MQ-9 over the Black Sea last Spring -- but they remove the human element from dangerous encounters while collecting intelligence on the intent of bad actors. MQ-9 and its siblings also can fly longer, integrate advanced sensor capabilities and conduct operations in harsh environments, expanding the intelligence gathering capabilities of joint forces around the world.
