Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC)’s Post

Kimberly-Clark, maker of Kleenex tissues and Cottonelle toilet paper, just adopted a new policy that steers the company away from sourcing fibers from old growth and primary forests, like the primary forest in the Canadian boreal, to make its products. This is a huge step in the right direction and signals to other corporate companies like Procter & Gamble to follow suit! Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dqd8xKQ3

It’s encouraging to see Kimberly-Clark taking significant steps towards sustainability by adopting a new policy to avoid sourcing fibers from old growth and primary forests. This move sets an important precedent for other corporations, such as Procter & Gamble, to prioritize environmental responsibility in their supply chains. At Biosable, we fully support such initiatives and are committed to using sustainable materials in all our products. By steering away from practices that harm critical ecosystems, we can collectively work towards a more sustainable future. Let’s hope more companies follow this lead and make impactful changes for the environment.
